I am not sure which "happening" you are referring to. My best guess, is the question of internships.
When potential juniors are concerned whether internships are available or not, then telling them a simple "Yes" hardly serves a purpose. It is not celebration, but information when we tell them about some person getting an internship. But when the person is a fellow Puy, like MML, then its hard not to celebrate.
As far as the course being new is concerned, Masters in European Business is equivalent to MBM (Masters in Business Management), accredited by AMBA. The course is more than 8 years old, and is advertised through channels like Economist.com
You see it as "heavy advertisement", what for us, is "complete information".
I am not sure what your status is. The information is not meant for someone who does not have a call from PGPIM. It is for someone who wishes to join this program, has a decent chance, and is undecided. It is our responsibility to help him make an informed decision.
You need to make a distinction between advertisement and information. Advertisement is carefully placed at places where the target group is expected to notice them. Advertisement can sometimes be disruptive, and is usually filtered out.
The target group is PGPIM call getters, not the general public. This information is not filtered out, but actively searched for, and only available through this forum.
