will like this forum to address my concern's to these top prof's in the IIM's,These people
are the most learn' t men in the country Why don't they take a stand on reservations

When you chose autonomy in case of fees ,why can't u chose it in case of reservations'

Wud u like a batch filled with 50% people who are not even good enough for even tier 3 institutes.


and it's nice to this country is filled with corruption from the top to bottom.
It's nice that this country choses caste over merit

So, unless there is a phenomenol increase in the seats, the general category seats won't increase.
Will they remain the same..!!!

The increase in seats by L,I and K(proposed) will go to the quota..!
Probably even more..

Will the Supreme Court judgement affect things this year for mba aspirants? Will govt mba schools which have declared their results do a relook? And will IIM's change their results due for tomorrow??

here's another link to info...yeah, will the results be delayed? It'll become even more difficult to get in next year, what with the online CAT and the increased competition.any updates on the creamy layer part?

I am not sure how they are going to implement this Quota this year.
Guess we wil have to wait....:( for full SC Judgement.

They have said that no creamy layer included.
So that in itself is a big issue as a large no of CAT aspirants are ones who belong to this creamy layer.
How they are going to separate them from other OBC candidates ..is a big question and may take even months...

The key word in this post is hope

Now common sense says that, If IIMs were to announce their final shortlist on 11th Apr, they must've been ready with the list by atleast 3 to 4 days in advance, ie as of now , 10th Apr 11:00 am , the complete list must've been ready and must be occupying a few hundred thousands of Bytes.

Knowing the fact that they had called a few OBC candidates this year, only adds to the verdict that this implementation might very well happen this year.

So the big question is , does the list that must've been ready by now accommodate the verdict? If it did, then what about the phased-implementation talk where the total number of seats were supposed to be increased?

The biggest of all the questions is, can the results be expected tomorrow?

After silently watching this issue last year, and very well anticipating that the same thing might happen all over again this year, I think I still love India

this is crazy. i cannot believe they have actually agreed to the reservation now. i hope the results don't get delayed.... they cannot implement it from this batch yaar. even last yr there was a similar scare. i dont understand y they want to ruin the lives of so many aspirants...
