Dont even ask.. They're not even considering me as an outstation candidate coz of some stupid thing i did while filling the form.. I guess i filled my temporary and permanent addresses both as Delhi.. But that was just for convenience in case they mail me anything. The fact is that i am an outstation candidate and now they're not ready to believe me. Me not being offered hostel !
I gotta do some shifting from my previous hostel in Noida.. and cant confirm that i'll be at IMI on 29th.. will sure try my best.

Ya I have enrolled for all the 4 courses. Sent them a mail earlier and sent the cheque today. Haven't you replied to the remedial wala mail till now?? It was supposed to be done till the 23rd

Just to let all my fellow batchmates know, there's a life@imi thread as well, where we can discuss our day to day happenings (and not-so-happenings) at IMI..... Many of our seniors have discussed quite a lot in it. I do suggest everyone to go through the thread. There are plenty of things that might interest you....

Also, I do hope that we can take charge of this thread from 12th (start of the remedials) and post regularly from then on. Hope to see this thread become one of the most active ones among "life @ xxx" walas

I have been contacting them since a month before the hostel list was released as i had realized that they might not consider me as an outstation candidate. I have been sending applications and calling them since then. And still when the list is released my name's not there. And even now on contacting them i'm not getting any positive response.
The thing is i now have no where to stay except if i take up PG somewhr which i dont want :( I'm even thinking of staying back at my Noida hostel (where i've done my engg from) and going to IMI everyday from here... which sounds crazy i know :-|
