- first U have made multiple post about same query in every thread
- second comparison of any sort between b-school is not entertained in PG.Use PM for the same
- third HR is a passion driven course.infact any course do some introspection.. just going by any college name neither will land u up with that Dream job nor it will give guarantee u highest package what so ever .. In a b-school its all about attitude and ur passion towards that course..if u r good u can make ur cut.. if u just party around two yrs even college cant help u.

New GSM mobile connections ! This will be a common need. I was wondering whether we could postpone the procurement of a new SIM upon reaching Delhi until our first day - 19th. Maybe we could negotiate bulk deals for the connections and get a corporate connection like facility among ourselves. The concerned will surely offer a discount if he gets even 15-20 customers, let alone a figure of 40-50.
Even if that is not feasible, we could negotiate with them to lessen the price somewhat ! Paying 100 bucks for the SIM itself makes no sense at all.
Teamwork starts from Day 1. Whatsay ? Ideas and suggestions needed !
Regards.
P.S : I have put the same post in the our Orkut community also.

This sure is a great idea.... We can also try to get some discounts on the STD front.... Lots of people would be vying for that (me included )

Got this from the orkut community..... Posted by Sachin... These schemes do look like a steal....
Quote:
I recently had a word with one of the guy associated with the corporate dealings(Vodafone)..Since i have a priority connection, i can get a very good deal from Vodafone, this deal is only applicable to Managers at American express but the guy said if we are about 30-40, he would somehow manage to get this deal out for us..
1.
2000 mins free to any connection;
1000 SMS free all over india;
50paisa for every call and SMS exceeding the free amount;
Free National Roaming;
No Clip Charges;
Free Itemized billing..
Monthly Rent: Rs.350
I asked the guy to give a similar deal for people who would like to make frequent STD calls, and he had this deal for them..
2.
1000 mins free to any connection in delhi;
700 mins free to any STD connection;
1000 National SMS free;
Re.1/min for any further STD call;
Free National Roaming;
No clip charges;
Free itemized bill..
Monthly Rent: Rs.350
In both the schemes, thr would be an upfront payment of Rs.1000 from which Rs.250 is Refundable.
But we need to be at least 30-40 to get this scheme out from Vodafone!!
This scheme is not available to any1 in India but the Managers at American Express.

R u kidding? these are brilliant schemes...
I'm sure a LOT of us will be eager to take up these connections...
Why dont we have a POLL to find out howmany IMIite Puys are interested, and then all of us can go there n fill in the non-Puys on this deal...?
and ask the guy who posted this for further details (how old was the post i ddnt notice)...will it still be applicable?

Hi all,
Got the letter from the hostel warden regarding hostel accomodation today itself.
Just in case any of you haven't yet recieved the letter, enquire via phone, coz the last date of submission of DD for hostel reant is 9-June-2008.
And regarding the bulk GSM connection, its a great idea.
Great going ppl.
Regards,
Tapaswini.
