Even I called Tapmi today for my admission status.
They told me dat i have not been selected for the course and this is the last list removed by Tapmi.:icon_cry :icon_cry:

So I think my journey for Tapmi is over.

I wasnt selected in the first list...but today noon, I received letter specifying that I have been selected; wonder,isn't it?
but the only worry for me is it's huge upwards revision of fees that tosses to almost 9 lacs inclusive of accomodation, mess, books, laptop etc.

So giving a second thought..can u puys plz tell me honestly how gud is it to invest this much amount of money in TAPMI

I received a call from HDFC bank, Chennai today evening regarding educational loan (seems they got my number from TAPMI... didn't know that TAPMI shared our telephone numbers with banks)

HDFC quotes flat 13% rate of interest (reducing) irrespective of the amount taken.
And for educational loan upto 7.5 lakhs, they do not need any collateral.

I do feel that 13% is a bit much especially considering that PNB offers a much lower rate of interest.

Do share your opinions on this.
If anyone needs further details on the student loans offered by HDFC, do PM me.
