Some clarifications abt the fee increase and everything..1st of all Lehman Bros. has had no implications on the fee hike..the fee hike is totally a management decision and has been done keeping in mind the transition 2 the new campus..now i no most of the junie batch wud feel tat this is unfair, but if its ne help, we r going thru a similar fee hike..2ndly i no tat the fee hike was not mentioned in the prospectus but it was made very clear during the presentation shown before the GD/PI and so the decision to join or not still lies in ur hand...m sorry tat u were not able 2 "fill the forms for BIM and NIRMA" and "have" 2 join TAPMI for tat reason...but now tat u have only 1 call in ur hand, i suggest u make the most of it...u'll b welcome here...ATB!!!

Well i'd jst say that its a very wrong foot to start off with. As Ameya said tht LB's visit has nthng 2 do wid the fee hike and it was a decision made by management keepin in mind the new capmus. And the thing about "stopping you for an extra day for 5 minutes direcotr's interview" was there last year also when we went thru our GD/Pi process nd its a part of process no one is FORCING you to stay. You can leave if you dont want to "stay for 5 mins director's interview". Nd one thing is for sure that TAPMI is as good a institute as NIRMA. If you had faired a little better in your CAT then you would have been in IIMs, now dont cry just because you have "to stay a day extra" or you did not find the info abt fee hike in "prospectus" nd it was just told verbaly during the PPT at TAPMI.

About expensive education in Manipal, TAPMI's fee is at par with other institutes and you shoud have know about this "expensice education in Manipal" before hand. Well this is all my personal view nd i dont mean to hurt you or anyone else.

Its a gud institute nd you r most welcome here. It'll be years to remember.

I think we all have bigger and better questions to ask to our seniors than this fee hike stuff which is now out of our control. If you are crying abt the fee hike abt our batch you shud think abt the seniors for whom fee hike has come out somewhere out of blue..

I mean we can concentrate our efforts on getting clarifications which are worthwhile and wud help in our next step...

Seniors , could you pls go thru previous posts and answer the already posted questions so that we dont have to repeat them again ....

CAT %tile - 90, 26 months Work-ex...

As far as I know... TAPMI gives weightage to ur ACADs n I gues there was rumor doing rounds that this year CAT score was only being considered for the GDPI calls... the rest depended on ur performance in GDPI, Acads n extra-curr ...

Hey anyone else joining TAPMI ?? ...do post here. Probably we could plan a get- together before joining. Any Idea how much & when is the last date for 1st instal payment?
