Hey guys when we are getting so close to joining so we should think a bit abt logistics there.
@ seniors, do we get mattresses, furniture etc. How much woolens (clothes , blankets and all) are required. Any other info about 'logistics' that may be helpful?

I am also thinking of leaving on 1st night and reaching on 2nd morning as discussed here some time ago.Just want to confirm the train name and all.

Hi ppl,
Reg the loan docs , u will be asked to submit copies of ur admission letter from BIM then ur UG , 10 and 12 mark sheets,address proof,photos and u got to fill in docs they give. tats it....
For more then 4 lacs,security forms need to be filled for which i am not sure whether they will ask proofs or only signatures of the person giving security.....
It is best to bring atleast 2-3 copies of ur entire set of mark sheets,address proof etc. and photos atleast 6...

With regards to ur rooms , both boys and ladies hostels are completely same.Each house has 2 rooms.The houses wil be alloted to ul by coll but the rooms in ur house can be chosen by ul.Each room have an attached almirah,a cot with matress , 2 tables and chairs (one for each)and apart from this ul wil also have a cup board each.
Get 3 sets of lock and keys, 2 sets of bedsheets and pillow cases(must have been mentioned in ur letter too) and woolen clothes ul wont be needing it in the first trim for sure....

the chennai meet at Eliots beach went very well...10 seniors met 10 juniors (looks like it was the same count last year too)

i dont have patience enough to write about every one....so i put in a single word...they were all wonderful.............looking forward to meet u all at BIM campus

Hi Folks,

Some folks of BIM 25 and BIM 24 met today in chennai @ eliotts beach. Was great fun. Arnd 10 BIM 25 folks and same numbr of BIM 24 folks...


from Bim 24 -- Nirmal, Mandhagini, aishwarya, Ashwath, varun, shailesh , Jerry, anbu, Narmada, another lady(sorry I forgot the name).

It was a surprise really to see so many seniors turn up .......

We folks planned to meet up initially @ barista, dint have enuf space for the whole bunch and ended up @ CCD. all of us had some stuff, met up with the seniors, went to the beach. had a sorta ice breaker session, and in the process quite a few interesting names came up for seniors.. Including Baby Boomer for Nirmal LOL.. sorry yaar.. had to spill that!!! Anyways, had nice fun and some even asked enuf questions abt BIM and life in the next 2 years. the seniors were very patient to answer our queries. Then had an informal "Tell me abt ur interest and hobbies" kinda session.. Some interesting answers came up .. Yeah, almost forgot, Varun and Jiten joined us on a CON CALL in CCD... We spoke mainly abt business... The following are the BIM 25 folks that met up

1) Thiru -- Very calm guy... Organizer of the event, found a victim in Diana and ragged her to the fullest somehow, he was busy with calls coming from all directions reg bulk deal and the place of meet.
2) Sharan --- fresher!!! Tall smart lad... Was kinda subdued seeing Seniors and elderly ppl like me, thiru and Ferdi (No offense guys)
3) Diana --- bubbly gal... very cheerful, and poor kid, was targetted all the time by us work ex ppl... Very talkative as well..
4) Bhuvana - She's a lady.. married with two a yr old kid... hope this clears Varun's and ankit's doubts... Calm lady!! dint get to interact much....
5) Ramesh --- The Undoubted Chatter bOX of the day... Loves finance related stuff... And yeah, a definite CANDIDATE for MOKKAI KING title.... Jus kidding bro... Not a single minute went by, without hearing ramesh's voice.. he's willdo on PG....
6) Ferdi --- Very Smart and mature guy... got loads of work ex and still looks like a kid...
7) bharadwaj --- Came late in the evening.. so not much chance to interact....
sivaram --- Fresher... Very silent and sweet guy....
9) karthik --- really smart and sharp looks.... Speaks very little, but talks a lotta sense...

And finally me... Don't wanna say anything.. The above folks will say good things abt me.. ... I hope they will..
