any chance of foul play here? my imagination is running wild as i have no converts so far, so am coming up with thoughts like this...
You sure have a point mate but am equally sure you can't rule out the possibility of a miscommunication (WL No. 19 or 9) mate!

Anyways, even if it's not cleared till 24th, it may further be cleared for not all those who've confirmed from WLs may be joining. Keep up the hopes alive Dude and ATB!

Then I'll go with Varun that you need to quote the BIM authorities their names and check if the people picking calls are updated for the actual clearing status or not?

Hi,
I really feel sorry for wot has happened to u... But am sure that , as Varun and Ankit have pointed out, there must be some kind of miscommunication somewhere... Most probably it must be that in the OC category till waitlist no:19 must have got through... So call up the office nd clear it out... I dont find any other possible way out....
Hope u get through... All the Best....
Cheers

If you rule of the possibility of miscommunication, i could think of only one thing. The number of people who got converted their WL in OC may be only 9.. i.e not from WL 1 to WL 9 but any 9 people between WL 1 and WL 19.. That could be because even some waitlist people might not have accepted their offer. Just a guess .. Hope for the best.

The procedure for placing the order to this b'lore DELL sales guy would be sending a mail to

2. the subject of the mail should be 'Laptop order : bulk deal - Thiru'
3. Kindly mention the model name 1525/1420
4. the processor name T5550/T7250/T5750
5. whether u need laptop case/backpack/ neither of the two
6. whether or not you want the 1 yr coverage for accidental breakage

thats weird, in the Inspiron 1525 quotation you posted, how come the one with 3GB RAM and 250 GD HDD is cheaper than 2GB RAM and 160GB HDD?

hey mate...

the main difference is of processor..

1525 with 2 GB ram has a processor T7250 2 GHz. 800 MHz FSB whereas 1525 with 3 GB ram has a processor T5750 2 GHz 667 MHz FSB...

I request you to read the configeration carefully and then compare..
