Hmm we shouldnt be worried abt accomodation.We can stay up in a hotel for one night (considering we go by nagarcoil and reach on 2nd). Madurai express leaves mumbai on 27th and reaches by 29th morning. so that would leave us 4 days before registration.

Won't be able to contribute to this discussion much, as iI'll be coming from Chennai... But in case u need any help with hotel names i can be of some help (cuz most of my relatives are put up in Trichy!!)... do let me know if u folks need any help in this regard.. I might be able to help :angel:

The registration ends on 3rd july..correct me if im wrong..

so we can easily do all the formalities on 3rd itself...

its better to go by nagarcoil on 1st july..

I regret for one mistake in my previous post..

Madurai express is available only on every friday and not on every sunday

Nagarcoil is available on every tuesday and saturday..

so in our case we have train on 1st july (Nagarcoil - waiting list) and on 27th june (Madurai - available)

so what say mumbaikars..

should we book the tickets now?

Hmm...the seniors are busy with their summers...so guess we shall have to help purselves....ur chances of converting look good buddy as every year about 10 in each category get converted..!!!

Some SC/ST guys have been informed that their WL status shall be informed by a week's time after May 19th...so guess wround May 26th..!!

One month notice period means you can wait till June 1st to put in ur papers...so just explain the situation to BIM admissions office and they shall respond positively..!!

Cant say for sure.As per the seniors in each category wl 5 getting cleared has a very good chance.I however feel that number to be quiet conservative and it could be more.Confirmed students have to send their first installment by 19th may so i guess whtever waitlist movement takes place will happen only after that. for 1 month notice period ud have to resign by end of may so i guess you would have to wait and watch no point in giving your papers in right now.Also the confirmed students have to send a mail to BIM by 12th of may regarding acceptance of offer so it could be that you wont have to wait till 19th either.

one of us could go and book the three tickets at the ticket counter. i will be free by friday.if someone can go before it would be helpful else wl would increase.Wht say u guys.
