Hey everyone,

Firstly congrats to all the selected candidates....

We have added a poll on the thread "BIM Trichy 2008-2010 Admission queries and issues" that will help us in knowing the waitlist movement better.

I would request all the selected ppl to please perticipate in this poll and plz vote whether you would be taking up BIM or not.

This poll is only for the selected ppl and waitlisters plz do not vote.

I, in the capacity of this thread starter, was wondering since days to find the option for adding a poll. Now, I know it was a technical issue.
I would, however, like to bring to ur notice that the complete purpose won't serve this way as it doesn't track waitlist movements of other categories. But if we have a similar thread for others also, we may have a total chaos.

So, instead of a poll like this, we can have:

Kindly vote only those who are NOT joining with certainty, please poll in ur respective categories only:
1. OC
2. BC
3. MBC
4. SC
5. ST
If something of this kind should be put up by deleting the previous poll, it needs to be made early as there has been no real participation as yet.

Hey guys,

Just called up the BIM office..maybe giving ull repeated stuff..!!

A nice sounding lady frm admissions answered....said that BIM is waiting for the mighty IIM's to declare their results 1st and then only the admission letters shall be dispatched..!!!

When I asked any other reason for delay, as in shifting of campus or fee hike, she categorically said no...just the IIM results..!!

Her explanation was " Many students who have got calls from BIM have also been called for IIM's, so we do not want seats cancellations"

I highly doubt that, and how would they know whether their students have been called by IIM's or not..!!
Wanted to tell them that we are cancelling admissions in all other colleges waiting for BIM letter...!!!

Anyways, IIM results cud well take a month or more....so some more waiting to be done..!!

hell man, the colleges should consider the fact that a person filling up their forms has shown interest in their college and the candidate should be given the seat if he is worthy of it, who the hell are they to decide wether or not we take the admission...

My mom called up the admissions tday ( was really worked up seeing her son dumping all other colleges..!!)

So, the lady said the letter shall be received by around 9th May..!!!

Gr8 news this !!!! Let's hope that they stick to this date atleast... gotta give a notice period @ work..... btw, will the joining date and other details be mentioned in the letter ?????
