hey puys, please put in your profiles (the ones with a stake in IISWBM)...things like CAT percentile, any other management exams, Academic Background, Work Experience if any, and whether you're joining IISWBM etc... Please put in your queries too so that seniors can visit this thread and answer to the same. But put in something so that the one's joining IISWBM may know each other well before the course starts. Anyways the thread is all your's puys, just put in your posts.

I also got thru but most probably will not be joining... dont worry about the waitlist .... going by last years trend all those who attended the gd/pi made it to the final list....atb to u and others joining this reputed insti...

please tell me about the placement of iiswbm in current scenario.
is it feasible to join this institute forsaking a job of technician in tatasteel.?

i m also an aspirant like u for iiswbm,i m done with my gd,i met some students they told placement is as obivously hit by the slowdown but they wer hopeful of gud placement ths yr...
but with respect to ur background i thnk some seniors cud ans ur query much better...
shift ur query to the other thread of iiswbm 2009 adms...may u get ur answer there!!

m a student of 2008-10 batch...
i wud suggest it is preferably to forsake ur job and join this institute.There are students in our batch who have left lucrative jobs frm Tcs(3 yrs experience),BoC,Reliance ,Cognizant.....just to enhance their profile......so if u have the desire in urself i would suggest to join

can u tell me the present scenario of placement of iiswbm/....there were 90 students in batch 2007 -2009 ...how many are yet to be placed in mba day programme? please tell me more about the faculty n companies visiting it .....please do reply ...thank you...

See the present economical downturn has affected placement scenario in every b-school,so is the situation here in IISWBM.yet iiswbm has managed to place almost all the students of 2007-09 batch and is near the finish line.Faculty is also good but it depends upon personal preference.new batch(2009-11) zhas 120 seats and have semester system and also has a new specialization added i.e., Operations.U can hav dual specialization here.....one major and another minor.Any other information let me know.

which would be better option ....hostel or going for paying guest???
