Finance or marketing????

true CAs have prior knowledge of some of the subjects in Finance but their core competecy is accounting .. and it shall not be very difficult to catch up with them soon enuf ..
on a lighter note, if they had been taking subjects with as much sincerity as I did in my grad days .. they wud be more or less at the same level as me i guess

hey everyone...
i was abt to start on a new thread on the same discussion wen i stumbled upon tis.. well...i'm in my first yr of MBA n our college offers specialisations only in marketing, finance n HRM.. personally HRM isnt my fav..

so as for now i've been thinkin of takin marketing as i'm doin terribly in my accounts paper tis yr.. but there is a prominent view out here insistin tat gals shouldnt be optin marketin.. well i want someone to advise me on it.. i felt tat finance really jus implies a mundane, routine kinda job.. (correct me if i'm wrong.. actually i don've any idea..it jus gave me an impression so..)

i'd also like to know if i can pursue finance or marketing thro distance education while i'm studyin?.. maybe a diploma.. will tat be helpful.. i'd lik someone to throw some light on tis...

Anyways, finance is one of the very dynamic field as its not at all a mundane job, and you have to try to predict what market conditions will exist in future, how can u fare better when compared to your rivals in the industry....Try to constantly device strategies that will make your share price up...This is just an over view.
