ur preference do carry the waitage but preference of the higher rank ppl will get more weightage than urs..
so it depends wht preference they have given.. upgradation will be on this basis only..

My classmate got PGDM(Full Time) at Nagpur , his CAT %ile being 90 overall. (Naturally he wasnt called for Ghaziabad). However, I wonder how many ppl are here like me with

Is it simply because we ppl hav given preference to Ghaziabad over Nagpur that v're waitlisted?

whatever you have said is understandable but than they should have not get us to fill up the options for Nagpur campus.
and in the result also they are showing as 'waitlisted for IMT-G?N campus'.
it gives a lot of discouragement as we are not been able to make it to Nagpur campus.

My friend has 99.26% ( 99+ in QA, DI, 85 in VA )
He is NOT selected for any program. I find it a bit hard to digest that he couldn't even convert any nagpur course.
I guess IMT people are giving preference to people who chose N over G

won't be taking it up...but wanted to thank all the seniors...harsh sir...sms sir...& everyone else who had helped all day during the process...
& also to every senior who has been answering each & every query with patience on the imt threads...

Seniors please get us some info as how many students got into wait list, as i have seen just one post where a guy has not been shortlisted. I m into a big mess now ..no final converts till now and dat means problems for me at work space scary..
Neways now waiting for IMI to come out with their waitlist as 80% of IMT converts are also IMI converts
