Can u plz tell if a person hasnt got the stream of his pref , & doesnt pay fee...will he be considered for upgradation...

Does being selected for 3rd pref suggest that ur WL for 1st,2nd pref

sir but can you please comment that why IMT has not given calls for Nagpur campus to anyone above 95 percentile and those who were called for only Nagpur have received the letter.

@ seniors.. does clearance of waitlist mean compaction.. ie if 50 FTs clear.. ppl frm HR n fin (if they dont want it ie) will be 'promoted' in sense.. so that even if the waitlist clears substantially, only HR n IB etc wud be available to us or does our pref also carry some weightage?

dear i am not saying nethyn abt the WL ppl..i am just saying that those who have converted for nagpur but want gaziabaad have to deposit money ,to remain in the upgradation race,and it may happen that they wont get imt-g in the end then most probably they will try to get their money back,which will happen after 2 mnths of course

if you are shortlisted , and you did not pay the fees by due date
than they will consider that you don't need a seat and hence no point of upgradation or second choice . so first fill in the fees and than think of upgradtion.

the reason for this : ppl with 95+ percentile generally dont opt for even given the options as they get better chance most of the time.. and even they take with chances of upgradation they back out after some time.. so admission process goes very much longer and they loose the students who would have joined given choice but now settled for lower ranked Bschools... they faced problem last year so this year they r trying this way.. may be u can say like upper cut-off which i think is there in some of colleges...
PS: its just my personal view

I think for Nagpur campus, no one with above 95%ile has been given a call.
