I got IMT Ghaziabad (IT) admission offer after wait of 2 months. IT was my first preference. I am not taking admission. All the best to waitlisters.

CGPA is Cumulative Grade point average...instead of giving you a percentage marks, most MBA colleges (and some engg colls as well, mine included) award you a CGPA. It is calculated as follows:
multiply the credit of each course with grade obtained (C * G),
adding this calculated for each course and dividing it by total credits...
i.e. (sigma)C*G / (sigma)G

After 2 months of long wait,now I have been offered IMT-nagpur despite having a decent profile n CAT percentile(96.75) n a good GDPI.
I got no mail..just gota courier at my place few minutes back.

Can anybody please tell is upgradation from nagpur to ghaziabad possible?

Last I checked on 7th june.At that time i was again waitlisted for 14th june.
But today,suddenly i recieved a courier at my place.So again i ckecked on the site.N now it says that I have been offered nagpur.I dont know,when d status was changed.
It was better to be in the waiting list than to get Nagpur.All my hopes are shattered now.I m not taking it up for sure.

It must be so disheartening the way u have been offered Nagpur.. And there was a guy up there with 99+ %ile who has been offered IMT-Nagpur. If IMT wants to improve the standard of people taking admission in Nagpur campus, they need to build a reputation first, get some good placements done, improve the infrastructural aspects. This is no way they are going to improve the quality, coz these ppl with wonderful %iles most likely wont take admission there. Even i am wondering what the next WL comes up with. I too might be offered Nagpur..
