Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM - IT).
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM - HR).
Is the PGDM-Full Time (FT) at IMT-N exactly the same as the PGDM course at IMT-G?

Does the same funda of choosing whatever you want to specialise in at year 1 end apply here (as described above)?

I think this has been discussed a lot many times earlier.... PGDM (FT) is not General MBA, where you can decide your specialization after the 1st yr..... You can either major in Marketing or Operations... besides this, you can choose any other (Fin, HR, IT etc) as minor....

The same funda is applicable at IMT - N as well

Hmmm. Well thats rightly said.
Probably we all can search for relevant links pertaining to our subjects and then share it among ourselves.

I think financial accounting basics can be quickly taken from X1 th class commerce book.It has good examples and elaborate scenarios.

If you have any other finding, please share.

At IMT N, if you do see the website they say that in FT.. one is allowed to choose any specialization........ single or dual!!

However in Ghaziabad, FT is marketing or operations specialization

hi puys..i am your batchmate PGDM(finance)
i was also thinking the same..As we have time right now we can prepare ourself for finance domain because i am from IT background with not much knowledge about finance .
so tell me puys have you started anything..if you have material then send me the links of e-books of 1 sem or anything worth reading before joining.

and seniors acc to you with what knowledge of finance should we come to college.

Hi buddy...could you please PM me the links of some e-books or material i should go through before joining PDGM(finance).I have seen your home page..but the information there is huge..could you please tell me the main links there which i should go through and prepare myself for the race ahead.

I ll be submitting fees for IMT nxt week.........can u guys ps tell me any info. or tips........like do i need to carry anythn apart from Drafts and i guess fees is not being accepted at coll.( i mean acc. dept. is somwhere else)..........

accounts department is where the distance learning office is.. its 10 minutes from the actual IMT where regular classes happens..
U need to carry ur offer letter with u as they will put stamp on that as a receipt.
accounts depart closes at 5pm so be there before the closing time
