Hi, call the imt admin. office and confirm whether they have received the dds or not..you will not get any mail etc for acknowledgement..

hey anyone can u please help me about the placements of imt nagpur.....the avg package is jst 5.25 dats too low i guess.....is it gud joining it.....will der be ny improvement in placements or will they be same dull.....coz paying 6lakhs nd having such a nice brand if we get poor placements there is no use i think....so nyone plz let me know abt wat u know regarding this

I have read a book named "Ten Day MBA" by Steven Silbiger.... It covers all specializations such as Marketing, Finance, Operations, Ethics, Organizational Behaviour, Strategy, Accounting, Quantitative Methods etc... I guess it's a pretty good read prior to the 1st year... It'll give atleast some insight into what lies in store for us.

Should be helpful for all of you as well... Do check it out

hi satyakrishna.
the decision has to b urs..though a few pointers that i would recommend before u join it are:
if u personally feel that this was not ur best performance at cat, and that next time u may score much higher and get thru in one of the isnti's that takes students with higher percentiles, and if u hv a job in hand...then i think u can give another try at cat.
salary is not an issue..dont judge a b-school only on the basis of placement figures.

I have a few questions about the courses at IMT Ghaziabad (and Nagpur).

Is the PGDM at IMT-G a general management course or is it actually Mrkting and it would be right to call the course PGDM (Marketing)?

If it is the former, then does what I say next hold true -- I thought if one joins the PGDM course at IMT-G then you can decide to take up any stream after your first year. Ofcourse this would be based on your choice of the minimum electives from a particular stream so that you graduate in that line. Also, the choice is independant of the number of students in PGDM (Finance), PGDM(HR), PGDM(IB), PGDM(IT) and there is no problem in choosing anything you feel inclined towards at the end of year 1.

To compare it with the courses on offer at IMT-N:
Of the four there:
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM - Full Time).
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM - Finance).
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM - IT).
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM - HR).
Is the PGDM-Full Time (FT) at IMT-N exactly the same as the PGDM course at IMT-G?

Does the same funda of choosing whatever you want to specialise in at year 1 end apply here (as described above)?
