Hi guys ..Today I wen to IMT to clear some doubts about the process here is the gist of that

• being in first list doesn't mean u r under top 360. there is a merit list acc to preferences.. so it might mean that ppl with higher merit was kept on waiting earlier.if there pref was not avail
• i asked then how ppl got IT without filling it. they said it cant b poss unless until at some point one has given that
• absence of counseling process this time:- last time many deserving student didn't come seeing there ranks.. even though they wld have got seat based on there rank.. so this time merit list is there but its kept internal
• no of dropouts has been very very less infact negligible for FIN n FT till now..yest also only few lucky guys has got IB.
• they say now the major shift will happen as they r also looking fwd for IIM results ..not many ppl have applied for cancellation.. so hope for big movt on 15th
• they have a upgradation list .he said he can only tell me if my request is under process n my application has been received for same.. n i saw my name was there ..however he didn't disclose my merit rank or chances for upgradation
• If seats gets vacant even if class starts .. the movt will happen..
• I asked for a reliable number to contact..on this he said the same number is to b used which is being given on envelopes..I aksed o one picks the phone..he said at night 12O clock he gets call.. he says in afternoon i can answer ..n most of time its busy coz of calls..

well I guess cant help it..have to wait till 15th.. all the best

Hi ,

What did he mean by " if my request is under process n my application has been received for same"?

Do we have to submit some application form to be considered for upgradation?

well I am sorry I didn't dig that answer..missed my mind.. But yeah I have given an application earlier stating to upgrade me as per my preference.
do call the second mobile number given on the envelope. that one is working..

There is definitely big chance of waitlist movement with IIM results pouring out.
15th May will definitely bring rejoice to lot of junta.

One of my friend is wailisted too and he spoke to admission dept.He was assured that wait for 15 , dere will be definitely positive movement.

So ATB and may god help us to reach our destiny.

joining date I didn't ask .. as per everyone till now its going to b around 21st so u can lay ur papers accordingly
