CAT 2008 Study Group : Hyderabad Nizams

Hi,all......its really nice to see many puys from Hyderabad willing to study in a group.....so please keep posting ur problems and keep this thread alive.
keep posting ur problems..I am going to appear for CAT09....as I havent started preperation yet...am staying at begumpet...can anyone tell me where is the begumpet career launcher is?
and which centre of these institutes are better to join...coz am new to hyderabad..and hrd frm my cat cracking friends that for a beginner its better to join any institues....are the weekend classes equally good as the regular classes?

Please suggest me how to gear up and start.......atleast here in PG,we can set our goals for a week.....I mean 2 chapters per week or so and discuss our problems on the related topic.....what do u say......?????

Hi @subhamita,

The career launcher center in begumpet is located opposite to green park hotel and Dr. Reddy's labs. After crossing the life style there is a right turning towards ameerpet when u are coming from sec'bad. After taking right it's the 4th building to the left. You can take coaching there. Weekday batch or weekend batch doesn't matter. But what matters is your comittment and preparation towards CAT. Already pre-mocks had started. so you should gear up your preparation to challenge all the others who have started preparation before you.

No dude... I am taking CL Pre-Mocks now... Any how we can discuss typical complex problems here.. and i request others also to have active participation in the discussion. Gear up guys....

ATB for all the guys/gals taking mocks.
Will discuss some complex probelms after writing it...

Am Salesh and I gsve d test today...... Everytime I give a mock cat quants a easy do stuff, verbal is difficult and di yet to start preprn maybe from tomorrow.....overall iscored 29 in quants, 10 in di and 4 in verbal.........
dis is my 1st aimcat........ Hope I improve my performance and at least clear 2 cutoffs by next exam........

Same here dude m also slogging with english only..... gettin only 6 marks...
while in di and quant score is satisfactory.. in di m gettin 42 and in quant 28..
but i think in di one question based on data sufficiency was wrong...the one which deals with week days...

Cherry .. it seems u overlooked d condn tht thr r 100 labourers ..

so d soln shld b

thr 73 children , 8 women and 19 men ..

total is 73 + 32 + 95 which is 200...

it is mentioned tht every women came with her husband ..

I guess d info related to atleast half the women came with their husbands is superfluous and intended to confuse us ...


Please let me know if I am correct ..


I guess other solns r possible too ... so ans depeds on d options ..
