My question is:
Everybody is trying to postpone their reporting date by a week or two. Can I take leave for 1-2 weeks (last two weeks of july) after reporting, for completion of my Company Bond.

Till Today...I was happy that i am finally going to IMT this sunday coz after having a heartbreak from NITIE in 1st 2 waitlists i left reading the forums and all abt NITIE.....for me NITIE was over

But...But today i got a mail regarding my name in waitlist no.4 and they are asking to submit fees by 30 june

Problem is that if my seat is not confirmed here even after fee submission i ll have to join IMT on 22 and in that case i ll not get refund from IMT

So, I have certain questions
Seniors or someone who knows the answers Please Respond As Quickly As Possible

1. Is My seat confirmed there coz in doc attached to mail it is written that seat is confirmed subject to availability if someone leaves etc.

2. Whom should i call for details if any or if any senior can ask the office people

3. When is the actual reporting date of all the other people who are already in....coz in doc..its written 23rd june

4. Will the session start on 23rd june or 24th as written and If YES then in that case if we come say a week late...after seat confirmation how ll we complete our backlog

5. Last but silly question , since i was not following threads .... is there any increase in fee by NITIE....
Also kindly tell me what is the actual fee right now

congrats for making into the fourth list...
i guess there are few seats vacant at the end of third round cuz i was in NITIE yesterday and they were discussing amongst themselves about the number of vacant seats. The best way to know about your chances is to call up the admission cell and ask them..They will surely help you out.
Most probably session will start on 23rd but like others you can also join in late..

yr seat is unofficially confirmed that 's all wat i can say .........call up admissions and tell them yr status they would definitely give ya a concrete answer ..........they did that for people in 3rd waitlist ............as of joining late i dont think it would be much of an issue u just need to intimate them through fax ............nd they will definitely oblige .......till the last list people have been asked to report on 19th for registration but officially classes start on 23rd ........u can call admissions at 022-28573371...........another person who might help would be amit kumar (impact guy)plz check yr pm i have mailed his no to u ............as for nitie fees there has nt been any increase till now .............its arround 2.6 lacs...........as mentioned in the mail sent to u guys (someone posted it in this thread earlier ) i guess u all have been asked to confirm yr seat through phone or fax ...............i guess thats a blessing in disguise......just keep yr kool and talk to admissions ...........my gutt feeling says u guys r definitely in coz some seats are still vacant ........otherwise nitie would not have cum out with a list so late ............as we all know being a government run insti ........NITIE does not have the obligation to fill up all its seats ...........anyways best of luck ..................hope to meet ya all soon

i am in same boat , i hav2 serve notice period in my company till 30th june n after that hav some personal work so llbe able to report to NITIE on 4th july

i hav talked to NITIE ppl they are sayin to sen a request application to Dean NITIE .

i ll send application 2moro but not sure of the contents of letter ,NITIE ppl seems busy .
so if any one has any info regarding this PLZ post here soon

Hi dude..
I~m in the exact same boat..
I went to NITIE to check...
They have given around 60 calls for 20 seats.
So the admission to the fourth list is not confirmed.
They simply refuse to reveal WL numbers and say u`ll have to check on 30th....I repeat the seats are not confirmed so hold on to your other seats guys for the time being.
So as of now we have to go to IMT...In a fix whether to pay at NITIE or not...coz if it is confirmed...we lose our fee at IMT (1,17,500)

If we get confirmed at NITIEwe start on 5th mostly....
Hope this helps...but remember noone on the 4th list has a confirmed seat as of now....
I`m also in the fourth list...dunno whats gonna happen..but one thing is for sure...i`ll have to report to IMT G...

I am in the same boat as you ppl. Although I will be able to report on the 23rd to NITIE.. but reporting on 19th is not possible. I have sent an email to nitie explaining them my position and asking them what I should be doing in this case. They have replied to all my earlier mails extremely promptly. I hope to receive some note from them very soon. Will keep you guys posted.

I'm going to report on 19th. Does that mean that I'll have to compulsorily join the classes from 23rd?

Or is there some option like we can report on some day later if we are joining on a later date? I had thought that the reporting on June 19th is compulsory whether we attend classes from 23rd or not... Please correct me if I'm wrong. If that is the case, then I'll cancel my tickets and report on a later date.

Also, can someone please clarify if we have to get some letter/proof that it'll take sometime for the company to relieve us from our services (i.e. the notice period etc)?

Someone pls clarify this... Seniors.. Ur help needed!

I believe it must be the admissions ID. It is admissions@nitie.edu
