Ok Guys n Gals,
Here's some good news for all looking for educational loan. SBI will be providing with all the educational related expenses for NITIE students. This includes: College Fee, All types of other Deposits (Like Exam/Library/Security and others), Hostel, Mess, Books, Laptops, Blazers, Sundries and so on... The total loan amount is going to be Rs. 390,000/- (Now ain't this MBA from a Top 10 institute a value for Money...
).
The salient features include:
1. A very attractive interest rate of 10.75% (When we got it, it was @ 11.25%)
2. All loan related initial processing in the college it self, So no need to visit the SBI Branch) 
3. Provision of sending the loan related papers in your home city for signature from your guarantor/parents, in case they can't visit Mumbai when SBI asks for them
4. No collateral Required
It took a lot of effort from our side to convince SBI over point number 2 and 3

This is just a sample form for your information only. You don't have to fill this form and send it. Only when you are in the college, we will initiate the process.
Ideally it should take not more than 10 Days - 2 Weeks time in case you parents visit SBI here in Mumbai. If they don't, then SBI will have to send the docs to the respective cities and get it signed from your parents there. This process may take as long as 3 weeks in normal circumstances.
We are planning to call the SBI Officials in the campus on 28th and 29th of June.
Make sure you have all the following documents ready with you positively. All the originals wherever applicable and all the xeroxes of the following should be there, so that you don't face any problem when the SBI officials visit the campus.
With application (For Student):
- Three (3) photographs.
- Undertaking from college on their letterhead as per bank’s format. The said format will be provided with application of loan from our Branch.
- Copy of correspondence confirming the admission.
- Fee structure for respective years.
- Engineering graduation certificate with mark sheets of all semesters.
- H.S.C./ 12th certificate.
- S.S.C./ 10th certificate.
- Copy of college I.D.card.
- Copy of Pass Port/Driving License/Pan Card/Election Card.
- Copy of Telephone bill/Electricity bill of residence.
- Undertaking that no loan is availed from any financial institution for this particular course.
For Co-Borrower i.e. Parent/Guardian:
- Two (2) passport size photographs
- Statement of bank account for last 6 months
- Signature identification from bankers
- Identity proof AND address proof
- Statement of asset & liability (Annexure ‘A’)
- Proof of income. (Recent salary slip plus Form 16/I.T. return of last 3 yrs.)
The identity proof, address and signature identification for the parents must be verified and authenticated by some government official (Typically from a manager of a Public Bank where your parents have an account).
