Hello Friends,

So finally the final wait list is announced..!! A few points from my side:

1. All the people from the first wait list (IM) have their admissions confirmed. (Pls note that this is just for information purposes. This message possess no legal validity)

2. All the people in this new wait list are supposed to deposit their fee. The seats will be alloted in the merit order. So, one will come to know about the confirmation only after May 25th.

3. This is the final Wait List. No more calls after this...!!

4. Guys n Gals, donot wait for the Call Letter to reach you. Send your DD asap if your name appears in this list. Donot forget to Write the following at the back of the DD:
i) Your Name
ii) Your NITIE Application Number
iii) Your Direct Contact Number
iv) Your Course (Here its only PGDIM but better write it)

5. Get a xerox of the DD before you send it.

7. Attached below is the File in case some one is not able to access it.

Other Queries will be answered in the next 12 hours or so... Right now I am off to my dinner...

u can get it confirmed by calling nitie @ 022 - 28573371 (Extn: 370)

but talking to them on phone may not be termed as official confirmation. Second is, on one day it will be officially declared and which one will be that day, kindly help!!!!!!!

Hello Tushar,

It is Rs. 393,000/- . It includes your laptop, your blazers, your books and your trips to other B-Schools for participating in different competition.

Actually we had got a loan amount of Rs. 390,000/- sanctioned from SBI. In your case it's a little more by Rs. 3,000/-

And just don't forget that you have 6 months of internship (2+4). So, at a minimum you should easily be able to recover your 25% - 30% of the cost while in college only...!! And Remaining... in first few month of your job itself..

can u post the placement numbers...for one final time...i did scan through this thread...only to find contradicting numbers....so please find some time to do this...!

...and by when can we expect the official word...i.e. an update on the website regarding the 2008 placement report?

Can you kindly throw some light on the waitlist movement for other courses (specifically ITM) there is no news reg the same on the website and the people give different answers every time I call the insti, I am waitlisted at 4 and any confirmed news will bring some relief and a smile hopefully.

Hello people,

Can someone tell me the procedure for cancelling my admission? was waiting for the offer letter from IIML, which arrived today.
Any idea how much time NITIE will take to refund the money and how will the refund be done?
Apologising in advance if this is not the right thread or the query has been answered before.
Please post the right thread if that is the case.
Seniors please help in this case, as this will also mean one of the waitlisters getting a final offer.

I have 2 question, anyone please provide me clarification on them

1. Why there is no announcement regarding waitlist movement in ITM & SEM courses? What is their status?

2. What about OBC people in ITM & SEM? There is no GD/PI for them. What is being done in this case?
