While I understand, that publishing this will calm down all the nerves, due to certain constraints, this will not be possible. There are a lot of them, but won't be able to pen it down here. Of course all of you can call up the admissions office and get the update regd. the receipt of ur DD.

Hello Chandan,

If you have recvd. the Final Call Letter, then attach the Annexure 1 with you DD. If not, then send just the DD, Make sure you have written all your necessary information at the back of the DD.

But people, who have not recvd. their final call letters, DON'T download this and fill your detail in this. This is because this contains some serial number/letter number which might be unique to everyone.

Just do as I said above in response to Chandan's post.

To be very frank, I am not sure about this. If it is unique (you might have seen anexures sent to 2 different people having exactly the same content) then its ok. But still I would advise the following:

People who have not recvd. Final Call Letter and who want to send confirmations like this, can always type or write on a plain paper regarding their acceptance of the particular course and the details of the DD.

However the most important part is the DD right now, and your details at the back of the DD. If you do this much, it should suffice.

Well we have been told earlier by the seniors that a 2nd waitlist may or may not be declared. In case of the former will the updates be displayed on NITIE homepage or will we have to call up the admissions office ourselves?? I know its kind ofearly to ask but still..... [:-)]

Hi Puys,
IIMs have declared deadline for OBC candidates. I think IIMs results are gonna come soon atleast for GENERAL candidates( n so is the waitlist movement).

Earlier there was a small notice on NITIE website regarding the last date of submission of fee at NITIE for waiting list candidates, at the top of the list. Now I just checked the NITIE website but there is no any such notice there in the waiting list. Last date for submission of fee is still 5 May,08 or has it been changed ?

I know last date was mentioned earlier in this list at the top.

Following content was there in this list which is missing now :-

Admissions for Waitlist no. 1. are open from April 18, 2008 to May 5, 2008. Waitlisted candidates will be allotted seats against the seats left vacant from 1st list or that may fall vacant due to cancellation / withdrawal of admission by the qualified candidates, subject to payment of Rs. 1,30,500/- as per the offer letters being issued by the Institute. Admissions will be based strictly on merit list and will be decided soon after the closing date of the waitlist i.e. 5th May 2008. Entire fee will be refunded to the candidates who do not get admission due to non availability of seats."

But now its not there anywhere in the list. So not sure why it is so ?
