Hi,

Waiting for call letter doesn't sound feasible to me. I am saying this because last time they had sent it to me(at the time of gd/pi) it reached me the day i was supposed to leave for mumbai for gd/pi(i guess it tuk arnd 2 weeks after the result).

Hopefully they should cum out wid a clearance list today and den we can go ahead and deposit the DD. No point harassing the admin department ppl again and again. Lets wait and watch. We all are experts in doing so now:satisfie:

It was said in a post ealier that the course commences on June 20th. Is that still the case or will the admission be delayed due to the OBC quota increase?

Hi Shriyak,

Let's not speculate... Remember that NITIE is not bound to fill all of it seats... Unlike many other colleges, NITIE never publishes a huge wait list. All it does is it takes those who it thinks are really above certain minimum standards... For that if it requires to publish one more wait list then it will publish... it it does not require then it won't...

Last date is 5th of May.. Also would advise you not to wait for the call letter. I have already attached a scanned copy of the call letter some where in this thread. You can refer to that.

Course commences from June 23, 2008. Reporting date is June 19, 2008.

My gut feeling says (and mind you its my gut feeling), everyone should go and submit the DD. The wait list is smaller than the last year by as much as 40%. So, it should clear.

Hi All,

There is some admission notice regarding wait list is there on:

This information has already been shared by seniors in previous posts and something which officials told us on phone.

Though my chances are very gud considering my wait list no. is 26 but there are two problems for me :

1. Now we will have to wait till 5th May to get confirmed admission(I will face problem in office for informing so late abt mba:frown
2. Need to withdraw fees from imt-g(will have to wait for sometime now).

Hi koolbuddy,
Is it possible to ask the management to put up the list of people's names from whom they have received the first payment by DD? I am sure a lot of people are anxious about this and have got confirmation individually over phone.

However, an official confirmation by the institute will do a world of good to all those who submitted their DDs.
