IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

Guys n gals,

The wait list has been activated. All the people in the waiting list can submit their draft.

As per my knowledge. regarding the Wait List status, depending upon the number of seats remaining vacant, people will be called in that merit order. For example say at a wait list number "X" the seats are filled, then the people with higher Wait List numbers (like "X+1" and so on) will be returned their entire money as it is.

My advise to everyone is: all of you in the waiting list, send the DD as the wait list is not big enough.

Make sure that
1. You have written the following at the back of your DD.
a) Name,
b) NITIE Application Number,
c) Your Direct Contact Number,
d) The Course Name (PGDIM/ITM/ISEM)

2. You have taken a xerox of the same.

I am in same situation. Have a convert in imt. Deposited money over there. Got the same response when i called up nitie(asked me to deposit money widout caring abt my name etc.). Cnt withdraw money from imt without ne confirmation frm nitie...

Thanks a lot for the update!!! have been waiting for it for quite some time.

My waitlist no. is 26

Considering last year's wait list movement. I believe that i should get thru and i cn try and deposit money. But i have few questions:
1. Till what time nitie will confirm my admission? Depositing money doesn't confirm it or does it? As i have already money in IMT and will request withdrawal frm there. Moreover i need to inform regarding my mba plans in my office too. Till i am nt confirmed from NITIE i dn't wish spill the beans to my manager and get:2gunfire:.
2. Till what time can one deposit the money?
3. Any last date for taking back the money for waitlisted candidates(in case of change of mind)?

Just a few more doubts:

1. What is the last date of sending the DD for the waitlisted candidates?
2. NITIE has asked everyone in the waitlist to pay the fees. Hence when is it goig to confirm that a particular candidate has got admission?
3. How is the movement of the waitlist going to be tracked?

I still do not see formal list on the nitie website. when will that come out?? by when will the info regarding last date and all will be put up on the website??

Hey puys, what list are you folks talking about?

The waitlist is already out and they have asked all the people from the waitlist to send the DD. So what list are they going to release tomorrow? I am sure it wont be a list containg the names of people from the waitlist who have been given admission as that will depend on who from the waitlist sends the DD.

e.g. even though there are 20 seats left..not all the people from the first 20 in the WL will pay the fees. So do you think they will keep updating that list every time they get a DD or otherwise?

Seniors please clarify if there any list that is going to be out tomo (i doubt that)?

Hi Mayank,

The official said a list of confirmed candidates from 1st waiting list will be put on website and they have to immediately confirm their admission by sending a photocopy of DD thru fax and etc details. Thats what i was told. Thought this info might help ppl like me hanging in air.

Any senior can throw some more light!! May be some more people can call up nitie and get out more info.

P.S. : By the way koolbuddy has already asked us to submit d DD so i ll wait till tom for some kind of confirmation before sending the DD.

Hi all
Just called NITIE, some official (a old person) told me that WL has been activated. He told if your name is there in the list then submit the fees immediately via DD with name & all in it's back. On asking the last date for submitting the fees earlier he says 4 may then he suddenly changed his answer and replied 30th this month.:confused: On asking whether we will receive the letter too, he replied "Itna kyun puach rahe ho, jitna pata hai bata diya hai... baki site dekho... aur DD bhejo ".
