Thanks for the update.
Please let us also know about the mode of communication through which we will be informed about the waitlist movement. Do we need to call NITIE ourselves, or they would be informaing us through a ph call or e-mail, or would the cleared wait list be displayed on the site?
I juz called up NITIE office.
They told me to call after 2PM for any update. Right now they didn't comment on anything.

1. I have a work ex of 3 yrs in IT. I want to pursue both Fin n IT as specializations. Is it possible for me to take electives of both the specializations? SInce we can take only 7 electives, I am not sure if its possible. I am looking for a job profile which involves both the fields. Can u elaborate more on this kind of profile n the companies I should be targetting, according to the current placement scenario.
2. Till when can I withdraw my admission and get just Rs 1000 deducted?
Yeah there is lot of confusion. I am WL at 30 and on contacting them, the operator said , without even asking my name, "Net dekhiye agar aapka naam internet pe hai to 1 DD bana ke bhej dijiye". On further pressing he said "aap meri bat suno, net pe agar aapka naam he to DD bana ke bhej do"
I am not sure what kind of reply was this !! He didn't inform about any last date of receipt :( .. Utter Confusion :2gunfire:

I think are juz confirming all the waitlisted candidates based on their DD submission.
As some1 has already pointed out in the thread, they may ask everyone in waitlist to submit the fee and later confirm the seats accordingly. It is a very confusing state for all of us as almost everyone has atleast one convert ( i have IMT-G) and without final confirmation we can't take back our money from such institutes. IMT has already declared the last date of admission cancellation as 27th Apr after which they can keep any amount of money as per their decision.
NITIE should have come up with the final confirmed list b4 asking for DD. I don't know how to manage such a large amount of fee. [:(]
