Please correct me if I am wrong..
For the ppl who are in first merit list..they are suppose to deposit ONLY the DD of the required amount at the NITIE,Not the forms of undertaking with the call letter?

found this list of courses for pgdim: NITIE website - Core & Elective Courses

AFAIK we have 7 electives to choose over the 2 year period.But there are only 5 electives available in Finance and only 6 in Marketing to choose from.Is there any update on an increase in the number of electives in these streams??
Secondly, the number of core courses in SCM/operations are more than the core courses in the other 3 streams(finance,marketing,IT/Systems) put together...doesnt that make the program too concentrated in SCM/operations??
Thirdly, how is PGDIM different from PGDIE, as the courses seem to be the same for both?

Hi Seniors,

Still no update on the official placement report for 2008. Can the seniors please explain the reason for this delay, considering the fact that all other b-schools have already come up with the report. Also, can we have any tentative date for the same bcoz these are the reports on which our decisions depend to a large extent.

The fees deposit date is nearing and just wanted to finalize my decision ASAP, thats why the curiosity.

A request to seniors: Can you please PM me your nos...I have a few queries I wanted to clear out over direct communication.

Hello Seniors !

My name is in the final merit list, but I have not received any letter as yet.
Since the last date is approaching, I want to confirm if sending a DD of Rs 1,30,500 in favour of NITIE, Mumbai is sufficient. Or does Annexure 1 has to be sent along.

Also, can the DD be couriered/speed posted or is it necessary to deposit it in person.

I couldnt find much info about the faculty for marketing in NITIE.
How many permanent faculty members are there?

I read that fmcg companies offer some profiles for mrkting, could you please help with the kind of profiles being offered.

Also which other sector offers jobs in marketing.
