Hi puys,

i have given my gd/pi @ bim today.

GD topic :- "does economic development mean social development?"

everyone participated n gave valid points... no fish market .. cool n friendly fellow candidates

we had a writeup after the gd.

i had my interview then..

the panel consisted of three members...
i feel bad for not answering a few tech questions... (very basic tech questions)
rest part of the interview was more profile based. i hope i did wel.

overall a cool process.

be confident and cool... surely you will rock!

Can u plz tell me what "basic tech questions" did they ask to u?C'mon friend I m a frsher and from BCA background....plz tell me about the questions they asked to u.....thnx in advance...

I dont think it wil help as i am from engg background...
anyways, i'm jotting down here...

they asked me about the following :-

my electives ( real time n embedded systems)..
my project (more questions on this) they checked my understanding on tat...
electrical basics..
and some questions on my core subject...

tat's it...

yeah, for some other batches these are the GD topics given:- ( i just collected them from the fellow candidates... not sure about it)

1. unlearning the learned..
2. why youngsters go for brand?
3. can budget influence vote?
4. does success come wit hard work?

Hi puys,

Today i checked out the GDPI venue for Chennai - IMAGE. It is near santhome. U have to get down at MRC Nagar bus stop. A Wedding hall named Mayor Ramanthan Chettair Center will be there. You just get into the road adjacent to that building and in that road towards beach take 3rd right and walk a few paces.

Or there is road to beach which is adjacent to the school named Chettinad Vidhyashram. Walk along the left of the road some 300mts you will get the venue.

Hey i had got 94.19 and did not get a call from BIM can anyone please tell me the cut-off.

Cmon guys...2 days done...n only one puy has come out with his experience....!! Start posting...( to those who have finished their GD/PI's )

Cut-off for open category has been 95 percentile, if Im correct..

@madeforiimb, can you let me know your profile in brief, as in how many years of work-exp ?? did they ask you tech questions bcoz u were a fresher ?? did they ask any tech questions to people with work exp 2+ ??

Wud be very helpful if u cud reply asap ..!!! Thanks anyways...
