I believe the use of Hindi and asking the same " r u nervous" question over n over again was just to make the candidate uncomfortable and to see how he/she reacts.
Also looking at the responses given, it seems he has fared well in the situation!!!

Hi Puys,
Had my MDI GD-PI for PGPM at IIMB on March 9, 2-530 pm slot.
My profile:
Acads : X - 89% ( CBSE )
XII - 89.7%
Grad - 8.22 CGPA ( Chem. Engg )
CAT 07 : 97.89%ile Overall
Work Ex : 8 months in IT

GD Topic : Parilament is a waste of public money
Time : 2 min to think and 15 to discuss
number of participants : 9 ( 3 absent )
I dint hear the instructions properly and was instead asking another participant for a piece of paper I expected that they would provide some paper top write but no they didnt..The discussion started and soon it turned into a mini fish market Was difficult to get in actually but managed few points and examples...Overall OK GD i felt.

Interview :
Panel 2
Was the first one to be called in... phew that was a relief
Panel included two profs 1 Male(MP) 1 lady (LP) and Me(M)
MP : Ok did u have ur lunch?!
M : No sir
MP : Dint the others not have too?!
M : No idea ...
MP : Introduce urself..
M : Blah blah ( missed few things here)
MP (Seeing my profile sheet) : So u played cricket for ur university?
M : Yes sir
MP : Ok cricket hmmm ok tell me what should the IPL organizers do etc?!
M : Blah blah..Was cut short here and i felt he tried to stress me a bit here by telling me that it is not a post dinner walk discussion so get to the point...I told about marketing etc..
MP : I dont think u und the question prop so listen to this question... How should the IPl position itself/target whom? Why?!
M : Blah blah youth etc etc.. (Cud have mentioned ladies but dint )
LP(Silent till now) : How many games do u play?!
M : I cant number them but gave her the list..
LP : What about ur reading habits?!
M : I read newspapers and magazines like Hindu TOI current affairs mags and BiZ World etc..

MP : Okay so u ahve lthese good marks how has heat transfer helped in ur IT job?!
M: Dint answer convincingly ( actually blabbered sumthn in 1 2 lines )
MP : Ok explain about HT to me in 30secs i am a layman ..
M : Did ok
MP : Where is it used in the industry any practical applications?!
M : Answered..
MP : Ok what about HT how does it help in a nuclear reactor?
M : Answered ..
MP : Ok when u think of an automobile which heat dissipation comes to ur mind first?.
M : Me answered engine gears blah blah..blabbered

Thats it....Was over in leass than 15-20 min..The otehr panel was doing the stress interviews i guess.... Overall a not so bad performance i felt..Thats it for this year

You managed ur interview pretty well...But I didn't understand about that Hindi concept.....
Btw was it for PGPM or IM and which panel were U interviewed by??
and more importantly, which panel was taking Stress Interviews...

Time: 15 minutes + 2 minutes to gather your thoughts Other Salient Details: No summary. At the end of 15 minutes, we were told to leave.

Questions:
P : After pleasantaries : Introduce ur self .. Before I could reply..Looks at my form and says ohh, DPS RKP, NSIT...Talked about NSIT a bit..After which , he asked me again to continue..
Me : I am shruti..working in IBM ..blah blah (work ex)..Stopped for two sec..They dint ask me anything so continued..In delhi I lived in a joint family..Hobbies...
P : So now that u have moved to Bangalore, from a joint family, what is the diff u feel?
Me : Told..
P : how is the work environment in IBM
Me : Told
P : What is the downside of working at IBM
Me : couldnt think up of any (at which point the panelist laughed..so I smiled too)
P : what have u achieved at IBM
Me : Gave some customer dealing scenarios where I did well..
P : what challenges u have faced? Then more questions related ot my role/project in the company..Some direct questions on work (non technical..)
P : Do u think that 4 years of engg is justified
Me : I gave a politically correct ans telling in what cases it has been and in what cases there is a scope of improvement.
P : Some questions on internship and what should be ideal duration of internship and how is internship diff than actual working..
Me : Talked at length about my experiences of interning at TCS and working at IBM
Panel : thanks..we have asked all we needed to..
Me : thanks and left
(PS : They had strictly set the intv duration to 15 min)

No Why MBA, no Why MDI, no Why switching from IT ..Very generic interview..discussions on my view points on the questions they asked.

Forgot to mention it was an interview for PGPM and was done by Panel 2 in Bangalore.. The Panel 1 seemed to be taking a lot longer i heard...

I had my MDi gd/pi at MDI . 10 th march.Panel 1 .9:30 am

For - PGp-HR

Moi details -

Xth - 88
X11th - 85
Engg- 78

Work ex - 32 months(IT ..aur kaha)

Cat - 97.07%

Panel ( total 8 students.. 2 were absent)

GD - Issues for HR in merger and acquisitions

Really gr8 gd...everyone contributed equally...I also gave good valuable points.In the end we all ran out of gas(points)..but luckily no fish market.

PI - i was second last

P1 - HR prof
P2 - Finance prof

P1 - with whom u celebrated ur last bday
Moi - parents
P1 - why not ur GF?
Moi - went with her on weekend..but on my bday was with my parents

P1 - If ur parents and gf have conflict, what will u do?
Moi - listen to both and then try to come out with solution

P1 - If there is no solution...whom u chose?/
Moi - told parents...morals + ethics+ respect+ priority

P1 - if u know gf is correct...will u marry her?

ld as an hr u see some policies are not good..but still there is no one above organization..so for me in personal life there is no one above my parent

P1 - As a HR manager..tell steps u take to sustain change mgt
Moi - told HR should come down to empplyee level..be friendly and commuticate clearly.Secondly HR should be rigid on policies..there is no one above org..so to sustain change ..policies must be tightly followed.

p1 - tell core values of ur company(Accenture)
Moi - gave good gyaan

P1 - Phone rings..he goes out ..
Moi -(sir ...shaadi ka kya karna hai )

P2 - whats diff between BSE and Nifty
Moi - gave solid gyaan of 5 mins

P2 - which all NCFM exams have u cleared (it was in my form)
Moi - told 4

P1 - ur very clear on ur thoughts

PS - My advice to working junta..do know a bit about HR things at ur company...Its really useful
