Plaese invest your time, analyse and then decide where you want to be one year down the line.

To correct you on one major flaw -

This is a new profile on Orkut, by a disgruntled student, and definitely not a community of current students.

I personally know students there and find no issues with anything !!!

Couldnt agree more with you Abhi!! - Could not make out head or tail of it. I just understand that JayCees wants say that the listed points about GL are grave concerns that the prospective students need to ponder over before opting to join the college.

GL Puys - Lets wait for a couple of more days till GL comes up with the PR. Lets validate the claims / documents of this well wisher against the report. If we find them valid enough to pursue, let us take it up with the college management. If not lets ignore this random rambler. For every such anti GL individual I can easily point to 5 hardcore great lakers. No point getting into a mass hysteria / mob mentality based on one persons observations! So lets keep shanti till PR comes out!

Personally I feel the well wisher should be strong enough to abdicate all his cooked up names and take the issue by scruff. Bcz Bapu ne kaha hai - do burai in open, Bhalai on the back!

Hi Everyone,

I don't know whether I am the appropriate person to post here. But having converted Great Lakes and having had a chance to study there [I did not take the offer], I feel that I have the right to defend Great Lakes. I sincerely feel that all this crap about Great Lakes is utter nonsense.

To let go of Great Lakes was one of the most painful decisions I have had to take in my MBA season.

Having done enough research on Great Lakes, I can clearly say that some unhappy student or some other prankster is just trying to creat hysteria and panic among students.

Every college has hiccups and Great Lakes had never tried to hide any information. Every person before applying to the college knew about the facts clearly.

Moreover the very fact that such pranksters turn up at the admission season talks a lot about their validity. Where were all these people when people were still preparing for the CAT.

I strongly believe that Great Lakes is very good school to be in and definitely has one of the best faculty in the country.

In the future I see Great Lakes rising to the level IIMs.
