Sorry, probably wrong thread, but since there is no other such thread, i want to know how the placements are at LBSIM. And what is the procedure of the GD-PI? is there an essay as well?or an extempore?

Hey guys. had my GD-PI yesterday in Delhi.

the GD topic was - Should trade unions be banned in India?

The Extempore was- singing is good for the mind.

there were 5 people on the panel!! God knows why?

interview was easy. i am an economics graduate- so questions for me were as follows-
what is econometrics?
define decision -making.
what is regression?
if we give you Rs.2 lac- what would you do- invest in education or invest in business?
is China's one child policy good as compared to India's population which has now become an advantage?
tell us why we should select you.
why do you think you are suited to management?

at the time of gdpi they said that the results will be out by 24th...any idea when the results are expected to be out....

hi everybody my gd/pi was on 26/feb/09 at 11:00 a.m. slot\

there was first of all presentation of col
then gd was started.. topic- is morden culture affecting our family values
we were 12 people and 10 mins given to us.. and we were instructed not to make fish market.. but it was the biggest fish market i have ever seen.. altiugh the panelist intervened in middle but that was of no use.. thanks god i was not a part of it.. and was given a chance in last by panelist to put forward my views

it was a big surprise that no extompre held..

1. kindly sing a song for us?

3. is there any loop hole in that movie?
4. choose b/w ratan tata, sachin and lalu.. and y?
5. wat is the height of wall behind me?
6. wat is the area of room?
