I also sat for the exam yesterday. Sitting for any competitive exam after almost 5 yrs was tough though i did a bit of preparation i managed to do only 50 questions. It seems to be a tough fight for the call. Is anyone aware how many people appeared for the test?

I think there were around 1000-1500 candidates at Mayur Vihar centre.

I am not sure if there were any other centres.........

As far as result is concerned, last year it took 17 days from the day of the entrance test. I believe that just like last year WMP office is using the e-mails for all the communication regarding the admission process. If yes, then "ALL" of you will get the intimation through e-mail. Thereafter, all the shortlisted candidates would get call letters for GD/PI.

The only possible reason which I can think that why date of result is missing on the website can be since they do not know by themselves also ........it all depend upon the no. of applicants finally appear for the exam....how fast support staff can check the sheets.....and finally how soon IT guys put it on the website....all these things are generally unpredicatable....till then enjoy karo yaaro, jaldi bhi kya hai

Just curious... I see many people coming from Gurgaon in previous batches...
How much time does it take to commute? Do the companies provide some flexibility to their employess doing WMP?

Results will be out by this month end or early next month, thats what Admissions dept told on phone.
As far as felxibility is concerned i beleive it all depends from org to org.

Yes, you are correct that there are many guys who are coming from Gurgaon. In our batch of 62 students, we have 4 students (include two girls) who are managing from Gurgaon.

Generally it takes around 1.5-2.0 hrs to reach campus depending upon three factors i.e. your office location, chosen root & traffic (unpredictable). They have worked out car pooling which makes it more relaxing as well as provide time to revise the assignments/readings.

As far as employers are concerned, everything remains smooth as long as your immediate reporting manager is supporting you. But it goes without saying that you need to compensate by working late on other days i.e. Mon-Wed. And you might be rightfully called for work on weekends also. So it becomes challenging to manage work - study - home simultaneously.

That's the price you have to pay for getting quality education while earning as well. Prepare for it.

Congratulations on clearing the written test guys

They don't share the Percentile. GD/PI would be starting tentatively in the 3rd/4th week of May.

As far as selection process is concerned, last year GD was based upon "Case Study". The skills which were tested are Understanding, Analysis, Recommendations & Communication. In my case, we got a case study which was basically on "Change Management" -- A co. was introducing new technology in the manufacturing considering the already proven higher productivity but there were some serious concerns related to it.......... Since most of aspirants were experienced hence the GD was conducted in quite cool way.....we had plenty of time to put across our views.

Then I found, PI to be more easier since basically focus was towards understanding my reasons for doing this course. Then there were some questions related to my professional experience. How would I be able to manage it? and similar sort of questions.......Actually I don't remember much about it.

I hope that this information would guide you........of course, anything can be changed whether its GD or PI pattern.

Hi puys and congrats call getters......

I have also cleared the written. But now i have a big problem.
My hometown is delhi ...and I had been working in a MNC in bangalore on a very descent pay for the past 2 years(total 5+ ex).
I want to do this course and ready to relocate to Delhi (last year had few offers from gurgaon companies … but not aware of the couse ) and take up a job ... Last couple of months i was hell busy in project...(why me ????)
Now comes the bbbbigggg prob part.
How to sell my idea to interview panel?????
Leaving company for the course looks like negative ……
Why didn’t went for a job in delhi if already interested in course ??? question will arise
Puys, please help me out ..........
