Hey guys,

Could you please tell me that if Part Time MBA course really helps to find a good job in market ... I know institute is not offering any placements then how the candidates will be benefited once they complete the course if their current organization doesn't provide any benefit fir this course.

Hi Rajat

This is the typical question asked by most of us. We have discussed it earlier in this same thread. You may like to browse through old postings for information in general.

But every individual has own needs and unique set of profile. I think a thorough self-evaluation of SWOT (Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats) might provide you more answers. Others like us only can give you advice.

If you are looking for advice then do share your profile with self-evaluation here. Remember one thing that "The more you LEARN - The more you can EARN".

I have done MCA and I have total of 3.3 years of experience ...
I have worked for 2 years in TATA Consultancy Services and now I am working with AMDOCS for last 1.3 years.

I have worked primarily in Telecom domain and I have got certifications in JAVA , Oracle also.

Hi Mohit,
The forms are out somewhere around Diwali. Look out for them in all leading newspapers..I think PagalGuy would also flash it somewhere on their website...
The admission test happens in Feb & the interviews take place in May...

Hi Rajat,
There are participants from all fields in WMP. For eg statistics background, Maths honors, civil services, telecom, IT, mfg, govt enterprises (GAIL, ONGC, Indian Oil) etc etc etc....
Hence background should not be an issue if you have 3+ yrs of experience (which you already have)...

Now regd the placements, one thing we should keep in mind that we are doing a non full time program..hence we choose to work as well as LEARN...which has a price...

Therefore as Umashankar pointed out, we can only offer our thoughts which may have our perceptions built into it.

I would suggest to treat WMP (or any non regular MBA) as a full package with placement being given relatively lower precedence as is the case while choosing full time programs.
