GD: Case study about the recent shootings in schools which took place in Gurgaon and some other place in MP..Was on the verge of getting into a fish market..but was decent..managed to speak thrice..gave some valid points..average GD on the whole
PI: Two people on the panel..one was a marketing faculty(P1) and the othr was alumni(A)
P1: DO u have any work -ex?
M: No sir, Im a fresher
P1: Very good, Excellent
A: Tellme about urself in a minute.
M: Started off by telling them where I was born and brought up and directly jumped into why I wanted to do MBA..
P1: So ur from Hyderabad. What is special abt Hyderabad.
M: The Hyderabadi Biriyani if ur a food lover
A: What if im a vegetarian?
M: The veggie brand of Hyderabadi Biriyani

couldnt think of anything else at that point of time ..
P1: Tellme two bad and 2 good things about India.
M: Started off by saying that our country is undergoing a cultural transition of sorts and people are unable to decide to which culture they should align themselves to and the advent of BPOs was adding fuel to all this and ws cut short by P1
P1: Yes, u r right..these days the girls smoke more than boys in BPOs

P1: SO u say that BPOs are bad

M: Not completely sir..they're revenue (cut short by P1)
P1: I asked u about 2 bad things
M: Yes sir, I was just elaborating on the 1st point..a brief silence and after that I ask if I can continue and they say yes
M: and talked abt the infrastructure not growing on par with earning capabilities of people...and was cut short..this time by A
A: SO in a nutshell u wish to say that infrastructure is bad in India
M: started off to say good things about India..said that people here are more adaptable and can face unprecedented situations than people outside..in the process brought in Geert Hofstede's analysis which shows the same.
A: Where did u come across Geert Hofstede's analysis?
M: SIr, I also worked as a freelance writer and had the opportunity of going through the cultural analysis in one of my projects.
A: So ur also a writer( while jotting down something)
M: Yes sir
A: SO what do u read?
M: Books
A: What do u read..I meant novels or magazines or wot?
M: I occasionally read novels sir
A: What was ur last book?
M: FPS
A: Who's the author?
M: Chetan Bhagat.
A: What's his background?
M:He had done his B.Tech from IIT-D and went on to persue MBA from IIM-A.
P1: What was the major learning from that book?
M: That one should'nt mess around with his or her acads
P1: Oh! I thought it was the other way round. I thought the moral was one can come out successful even if he/she messes around with acads.

M: That happens very rarely and the author wanted to add in some commercial value. We Indians wouldnt like tragic stories
P1: What was ur last movie?
M: blah
P1:Learning, if any from that movie?
M: blah
A: What's ur goal in life?
M: To start an IT consulting firm
A: But there r so many firms in the market. How do u think u make someone approach u ?
M: Sir, that depends on how well I makrket my organization and that's precisely why Im here to take a course in marketing
A: SO u were a mamber of AIESEC. weRe u on the national level of AIESEC or on the local chapter?
M: Was on the local chapter as Team Leader.
A: What's the strength of AIESEC in Hyderabad?
M: Its arnd 40 at the moment sir.
A: Its increased so much
P1: Ok Ashwin! 1 last question..this time u ask us a question.

That's it
P1: Call in the next person after 2 mins...
That's abt it puys..what do u say? no acads..no technical questions..no certificates asked except the somaiya form..
