Yo avinash you beat me to the post aa
Ok here goes my GD experience in Tapmi
I was staying down in Udipi and its a 15 min bus ride to TAPMI and there are buses every 5 mins from Udipi. I was at a place called Udipi Residency and it is pretty good.
Ok the day of the interview got up by 6am and then left for Manipal by 7.15 am
Reached by 7.30 and could not find anybody there. My name was 2nd in the list and i was on panel 6. There are a total of 6 panels, each panel consisting of 3 or 4 faculty members. Iv heard that some panels had some people from the industry also. There are around 15 to 18 TAPMI aspirants

on each panel.
8.30 everybody has to be seated in the auditorium for a presentation on TAPMI. The presentation was neatly done by a senior faculty member but it was damn boring. I was feeling so sleepy the whole time. After the presentation he will ask if there are any doubts. One guy tried to act smart and he got SCREWED in front of everyone.
After that all of us had to go to our respective panel rooms where its a U shaped arrangement of chairs. and the seating arrangement is according to your number.
There are only case studies here and my case study was about one arundhati who is a supervisor in a taxicab company. the problem she is facing is that the drivers are not reporting any mechanical faults in the car which they are aware of which is causing heavy losses to the company and so on...........
FISHMARKET what do you expect 16 ppl in the group and almost everyone was shouting at the top of their voices. The moderator intrupted us once saying that if it carries on like this then he cant judge anyone and the whole group will be penalised even then it carried on in the same way. After the GD he made a remark that he could not judge anyone properly.
Summary of the Case study. Theres a limit of 200 words. Put as much matter into it as possible and keep the lenght short. They look for the flow of thought. Gramatical mistakes, dont write it as points it whould be in a parra form. Be quick you wont have much time. just 10 mins
Then comes the extempore. I was the worst speaker in the whole group. Could speak only for 30 sec or so and my topic was "Parents are too Demanding on their children" We have a choice of 3 topics and we have to chose one.
Psychometry test. This is cool dont bother about it. Everyone will do well here.
Then we had to wait for our Panel Interviews. The first Six will have their interviews before lunch and these lucky ppl will have their final interview the same day after lunch, I was one of them

The rest will have their panel interviews in the afternoon and the Final interview the next day.
Panel Interview be prepared for questions on Acads if you are a fresher and Q's on Work Ex if you are working. No Stress interviews. Cool Panel and the final interview is just a formality. AC ka hawa khake baahar aaneka bas
Thats it guys. All the best.
Cheers
