Well I guess you all can visit to the thread mentioned in the first post of this thread and will find many GD/PI experiences there.
NIBM is in process of increasing number of seats regularly since inception of PGPBF, and in the batch of 2006, 2007 and 2008 no. of seats (for freshers) was 27, 35 and 50 respectively. My prediction is that number of seats should be 60 this time.

Ok as a general announcement I'll like to inform that I have requested a senior of mine, who is 2005 batch pass out and currently working with Exim Bank, Nitin Malaviya to participate on this thread. Nitin is the person taking initiatives for last two batches and much of his earlier advices can be seen here:-

And about thread being silent, of course don't expect NIBM thread to be anywhere close to others like GIM, IMI etc. (saying that being a part of all of them succesfully ), as NIBM is very different in approach and practice then these schools. So whenever you have queries feel free to post them and we will try our best to provide answers, in case of delayed response you can even buzz us on PM.

I called up the NIBM number given on the call letter, a very nice lady picked up. She suggested me to confirm through e-mail , which is written on the call letter.

please mention your date, location and cat reg number while confirming your participation.
She also confirmed that cat score will be given some weightage in the final selection.

Hmmm, Welcome to NIBM and as been told many times till five years back all participants (students) of various programs of NIBM used to be Bank officers/esteemed delegates, so don't be surprised on such fantastic treatment. And the lady who talked to you must be Sudha Mam.., on of the many nice supporting officials of PGPBF program........All the Best

The interview process already started 5 days back and will get over this Saturday with Chennai being the last centre. I guess either there's not much representation of NIBM aspirants on PG or puys are not aware of this thread, so in any case I request puys already been done with their GD/PI to put u their experiences ASAP for the benefit of others and others can put forward their concerns if any
I'll be there at Indian Bank's Hostel in Chennai for morale support and meeting prospective juniors

And please be here as this time NIBM doing its GD/PI earlier means a lot of dilemma while selecting institute in future and thus we can be bullish on this thread for a month now
