With a QA: 31.50%ile its really difficult for him to receive calls & convert top b-schools. All most all consider sectionals. If he can afford to wait for another year, he definitely SHOULD! ATB friend.

BIMtech site clearly mentions "For Admissions 2008, the candidates having 70 percentile in CAT (Nov. 2007) with minimum of 25 percentile in Quantitative section of CAT will get a call for GD/PI" mine is on 11th feb -8am - Indore any1 else frm indore???

IMO: Thats just the bare minimum score that they will accept if there are no applicants with higher score. Logically speaking, if 5000 applicants have 70+ percentile & clear quant cut-off, why wud they call 5000 applicants for 120(IDK exactly) seats!
