CAT 2007 - Scorecard Discrepancy - IIMs Calls Discrepancy

Hi ALL,


I have created this thread so that all the guys/gals being out done by the selection criteria of any IIMs or some one having some score discrpeancy can discuss their cribs abt the IIMs or may be unite together and show the IIMs what bullshit system they have...

here goes my crib..

CAT : 99.57
VA: 99.8, DI: 93.13, QA:96.XX and have only LIK calls
class: 12 : 86.4, class 10 : 90 % wrk ex..in consultz 2.5 years...still no B call

I have filed a RTI with IIM.. and will post the details once i get back the reply...

How do we file an RTI?

And do they consider reviewing an individual OMR sheet even if I file an RTI? I think they should coz we are paying money right?

I strongly believe that there is something wrong with their way of evaluation. Coz I was getting 60 in Quant and it came down by 13 in the actual evaluation..................
In DI I was getting 47 but got 42 (and 43.15 after projection to 100 of course).

Here is the process which i followed.

1) I wrote an email to Public Information Officer at IIM, the phone number and email details of each Public information officer is available at their respective websites. I quoted whatever information i require in that email.

2) theerafter, i got an email reply from them and he admitted it as my application under RTI and he requested me to send the Draft, which i have done.

3) Now according to the RTI act they have to get back to me with a written reply in 30 days, and that 30 day period will get over on 12 feb.

Thats how it works...to all those interested in filing RTI..get in touch with information offcier at each IIM..its his job to help u guys in filing RTI..he will and should explain each and every process of filing RTI to you.. go on and teach the IIMs a lesson...how bad these guys are....in the selction process.

the key has been released by the IIMs, check ur answers with it...if the marks discrepancy is still there...file RTI....

Does it mean they gave out calls to OBCs taking into consideration the OBC reservation?
else why would it be 96.76 overall for them?

i saw a IIM B call getter who is just CA inter pass and overalll score of 94.5 getting a call..
can i go for RTI coz myself being a complete CA and wid better overall %ile dint get a call and this chap gets a call..

go on and file RTI....even i have seen that guy..yar its a crime..that these guys are calling one having 94.5 and not u.....go and file as i did.....
