CAT 2007 - Scorecard Discrepancy - IIMs Calls Discrepancy

Guys,

I have filed 2 RTI's with Ahmedabad... and 2 more with Calcutta
My story is ::

QA: 99.92 %ile
DI: 99.93 %ile
VA: 85.22 %ile
Overall: 99.94 %ile....
Calls from L and I...

My case:
I got 19 in VA....
- according TIME / IMS it shud have been 34 - but lets ignore this..

- according to the IIM keys I shud have got 34 -

There are 2 possibilities:
1. I shaded the wrong circles
2. A screw up on their end...
Although the first seems more likely - I dont generally make such mistakes... so

i've filed 2 RTI's with both the IIM's
the first for - rescanning of OMR
the second for - photocopy of OMR

i've emailed them and couriered them - thats the PIO of each college.. on 12th jan
I have also emailed the addmissions dept on 9th jan.....

yet to hear from them...
will let u guys in on any developments

yar how can u file RTI for rescanning..acc to me...RTI is only for abt some information.....correct me if i m wrong..any ways...great to see ur post.....

tell me onething..did the Inofrmation officer at recpective IIMs accept ur applicaton under RTI?? and did u send any demand draft?

I made a draft for Rs.10/- in the nam of the respective colleges...
I dont think rescanning falls under RTI - but for Rs10/- i thought it was worth a try...

i, myself really donot know the actual procedure - i've followed instructions on CAL / AHD website...

CAL website has a format in the form of Appendix A..

gr8 initiative gaurav.......do update us on what is happening..........i too lost 5 marks in qa which cost me iima & iimc calls..........

here goes the biggest discrepancy..

just imagine what will go through your mind when ur cat scorecard says, u have got....

VA-95.34%
QA-97.34%
DI-99.73%
OV-99.60%

and further it says...the follwing iim centres have shortlisted u for gd/pi
1)calcutta

2)indore

3)kanpur

now what is this iim kanpur all about..how did this word kanpur come in their database..

next day looking up again things were in place..kanpur became kozhikode..which looked better..

nothing more to say..don know why cant forget the 1 mark in verbal for which i missed a call from ahmedabad ( my true and divine love ).....

kanpur means kozhikode..its now updated in d catiim website..same thing happened with me also.......
