Hi,
Me in too in 1st list..what is this confusion about final list? Does it mean that 1st list people are going to be interviewed again?

Can someone please clarify?

Well in that case only ppl who ll b interviewed on 18th wud b added to the existing list or ppl interviewed earlier but not considered (if this case exists) can also be added is the confusion now. Hope its the later.

there seems to be a lot of confusion regarding the results.as per my info the adcom committee told me nothing abt the second list and they told that my name was in the list and that was the final list.was the same thing conveyed to the people who made it to the list?is their any one among the selected who got information abt second list or other things?there has to be 35 +25 for both the course but only few people r responding to the post and how come suddenly interview and other things.was the same procedure followed last year or there is some miscommunication.i was told that the results would be out on the net on saturday(5th july) but nothing as such till now.
hope to see the good news in print pretty soon without much of hassels.

I am also in the first list (Information Mgt). Eagerly waiting for the official list on website/ email confirming the same.

I am married, but I don't think there are any family accomodations in the campus. I am sure there must be married people in previous batches. Can anyone let me know how they are managing. Is there any apartment nearby where family people are living.

Also would like to know what is the rental for a decent accomodation (1 BHK - can't afford anything bigger without a job) in that region?

Lastly, Are there foreign placements as well?

I did not get a chance to interact with the existing students and discuss these things. Will appreciate if anyone can share information on these. If anyone wants to reach me my mail id is ashish97@rediffmial.com.

Can you tell me what is the range of scores (minimum and maximum CAT/XAT/GMAT) and range of work experience of people who has made to the first admission list. This information could be useful for me.

I wont be able to comment on the scores. However I could possibly get the average age (and correlated work experience) pulled out later on.

At least we can get the score (CAT/XAT/GMAT) and experience of the current PG members who are are using this thread and got in. So I request all successfully candidates to cherish their moments and post their breif profiles.

This will be beneficial for future applicants.

it has been a long time since thirteen was seen as good number.i think for the ops guys the thirteen seems to b favouring as some had interviews on 13th and only 13 made it to the list.
