Can anyone please update this question? Even I am interested in applying for the same program. As asked on top, the question is the same. What is the avg GMAT score required for an applicant to be shortlisted for the one yr PGPM course in SPJAIN?

Rahul Sir,
It is very much inappropriate to say wether one would be shortlisted or not.
But atleast you cud tell us that wether we have some hope or not.

As the thing is that the form is same for both 2Yr prog and 1yr prog. and since i was not short listed with the first list. should I consider that my profile can not match the SPJain level.
Atleast can you throw some light on the fact that how many apply for this 1Yr prog.

I got 92%ile in XAT and i wish to apply with that so could tell me that with a work ex of 42 months by dec2008. Atleast will i be elligible to apply or not.

Your comments will be of great help.

Thanking you,
Saurabh

I will be having around 3.5 yrs of work exp. till Dec 2008.
CAT 2007 %ile : 87.
With strong background and many achievements.

Are there any chances??
Please guide about the criteria of selecting people with 3-5 yrs exp.

To answer blazingvenom911's question, the minimum experience level is 3 yrs as on whatever date is mentioned on your form...So I dont think tour application will be considered for a 1 year program.
And yes, people who have applied for 2 year programme with a work ex of 3+, need not apply separately. Their applications are automatically considered for a 1 year programme. But there were some discussion going around to increase the minimum work ex level. So please check that out.

Saurav,

Upto what date will your experience level be counted, as per the application form? If your ex level is more than 3 yrs...w.r.t the date mentioned in the application form, you shld be eligible.....but as I had replieved in the previous post...that the authorities were plaaning to hike the minimum ex level, please check that out.

Hi All,

I am Amit Gaharwar currently studying in PGPM program.

Regarding selection, there is no cut-off percentile for CAT/XAT score . The final selection depends on how you performed in interviews, your background and ofcourse your CAT/XAT score.

Secondly, in our current batch the least experienced guys are the people who passed put in 2003 and most experienced 13 years.

Maybe this helps in your choice of this program.

Regards,
Amit Gaharwar

@Sandhya,

Which stream you applied to?
IM?
Generally if you are more than 4-5 years experience .... You become an automatic choice for 1 year program.
