Tomorrow is fine with me...We could start in the evening say 6 pm..One round of GD with say around 6-7 members each...Then a short PI session..We can finish it with dinner at iitm

college: 80% (Bcom grad)
Loads of extra curriculars to feel good about..

Presently working in RR DOnnelley as an analyst in the Research and Analytics Dept

Waiting for scmhrd call.. NMIMS results awaited.. XAT bombed.. FMS no clue...

But game for anything under the sun when it comes to Chennai PG...

Time and venue please,will try max to attend though i have something else .CCD guyz will psyche out if we go there today and you also cant talk about sub-prime crisis when the guy and gal in the next seat are trying to get "subjectively prime"

We have 15 guys who have expressed interest in this thread and the first post has the necessary details..Pls pm me if there are any corrections...

Ideally we should be starting our GD/PI preps this weekend -19,20...However TIME has its Achiever's Workshop for IIM Call-getters in Chennai on both these days...I presume all call-getters would be headed there ...The timings have not been yet mentioned but we could expect it to be for the greater part of the day..

If we look at weekends alone, we would end up with 26-27th as the week after that - Feb 2-3rd would be IMS Achiever's Workshop...

Max participation of guys - with many working - would be on weekends i assume...

Please give your suggestions as to how we could move further on from here...Most imp factor is also Rajat's availability ...We need him for the mock PI...

Although I have never been part of this before but still few cents from me...sorry if I sound silly

TIME,IMS and other insti will have GD/PI discussion only during the day time and by max they can extend to 8.00 pm I guess...why dont schedule our GD either after 8 pm or early morning @ 6 or 6.30 am(is that too early )
GDs at night time will be da best one...we can probably have dinner at 8 with other puys present their and that will be more like introductory session and everyone will be comfortable by then and we shall start GD process by 8.30 or 8.45 pm and try finishing it up before 10 pm( is that possible )

I think this is a very good suggestion....infact many of my frnds followed this kinda schedule a couple of yrs back when I was in my final yr...(And 1 or 2 among them made into the IIMs also...now this piece of info ll increase the enthu of ppl who had got calls)

Anyway..having sessions only during the weekends means very less number of sessions and less time on the nets
And we cant have less no of GD sessions and compensate it by having them for 4-6 hrs continuously during the weekends as guys like me has to observe others, start with a few flops and slowly make progress..so it would be better if we have as many sessions as possible

So lets have it atleast thrice a week...2 weekdays and another session either on sunday/saturday...we can use the rest of the time for doin our homework and TIME/IMS/CL sessions..

And once we get into the groove n once we are done with our home work..we can ve more sessions

Now the question is

Where do we ve it....do we ve any puy livin in the center of the city and whose place has a good terrace...where ppl wont mind if a grp of pagals keep shouting about Indian economy for hours together

Or any puy livin alone or with a frnd (who wont mind) in a room..where we can have our sessions..

Or did u guys decide anything with rmbt in the recent meet....
