One thing i miss about the PG connect of last year is that if i had a call from a college and enetered it, i could see the everyone's ID who had the call from that college, regardless of their slot (whether the slot matched with me or not).
Now, I am able to see only the ppl who will come in my own slot! Why?

is this something deliberate? I loved to see all the ppl who had calls before and after my slot too!

Otherwise the pg connect of this year does look more like the dhansu application it actually is!

thanks for updating about IIMC. will make necessary changes. as for the other feature that you have asked, yes we made the application like that deliberately because ability to see people from same slot puts things more into context. however this can be rolled back and it can be changed so that one can see people from other slots also. But then people will loose the ability to identify junta having gd exactly in the same slot as their's. so if more junta wants that i will definitely roll back.

you have provision to delete the entries that you have made(see the step-2).

Why not make two rows in the third column, one with people who have same slot, and another one below it, having puys with other slots

Hey Sandeep, errr Deepu,
How would it be if u could put the filter fields present in Step1 also in Step 3?

I mean, then one could see the ppl coming for IIMC PGDM by changing one drop-down, then a smaller list of ppl by changing the center field, and a still smaller list by changing the dates drop-down...

I know that this might make the application look a bit more complex than it actually is for newbie users, but would greatly appeal to us hardcore (or expert, in my case) pagals who could see everyone who's comin for their institutes...

As you said, it may complicate the whole UI. i will atleast make changes so that you can see people coming from the same center but on different slots also. anyways, give me one or two days to think about the whole thing and make the necessary changes..
