Yes, the calls were given on the same day for pgp and abm and interviews have also happened in almost all the cities. The final results will also come out within a gap of at max 1 day for both.

556 final offers were made in the first round last year

The waitlist also moved till 80-90 in phases after that.

about 1000+ final offers were made in the first round (for exact no. you may check the final converts thread of last year)
The waitlist also moved till 125 after that.

For last year 2006-2007 placement season, min 12 months was considered for laterals by some companies. But some companies also looked for 20 or 22 months as minimum. But the bottom line experience for laterals was 12 months minimum. Hope it helps.

Here it goes:

1) announcement of final list
2) dispatch of admission offer letter (those who dont get it in time, can also find it online) by hell
3) Submission of some part of fees (last year it was 30k) upto a certain date along with the letter.
4) For non engineers a prep course of 10-14 days before the actual course starts
5) Joining date/ reporting date at campus some where around 20 june. 2 days of some orientation.
6) submission of acad, work ex, medical docs and another installment of fees (only the remaining of first year) at the end of oriantation
7) bank loan facilties available pretty easily at the campus itself during orientation

In between there could be some alumni meet at respective cities for freshers.

Hope it helps. Regarding the hostels and other facs, they are available from date of orientation. Rest seniors could help.

the process of waitlist movement:

1) announcement of final list of shortlisted confirmed candidates + waitlisted candidates (upto a rank of 100-150 this year i guess).

2) a date is given to confirmed candidates to deposit a DD of Rs 30k (dats was happened last year if i am right) after which their admission gets null and void if HELL does not receieve the DD.

3) after this date the first list of waitlisted candidates who have been now confirmed is announced and given a date to submit fees, after which again a new list of waitlisted candidates turning to confirmed candidates is released.

4) at the time of beginning of session, i guess there is one more waitlist.

Seniors plz shed some light on the end part of waitlist movement. Hope it helps.

Today I found the PGP Admissions Policy Document 2008 document in the IIML site. The document is given below:

Can anyone please let me know how quality of work ex (5% weightage) and quality of education (5%) is determined? Is quality of education determined by the institution from where we have done graduation or it is determined by the marks scored in graduation?
