And the high proportion of engineers making it to IIM's each year can be explained by the fact that most students in India just take up either engineering or medical after XII.
What about the recent increase in doctors making it to the IIM's? Where do they get their Maths from? |
but the biggest benefit to engineers is that they are in constant touch wid maths..
for ppl like me of commerce background we dont even touch maths after Xth..
and thts y we lag behind in this section...and for the reason of most engineers getting into IIm's
1) ur rite - atlst 3-4 lakh engineers pass out every year...no odr field can even come close
2) gr8 minds of IIT's, NIT's coll like DCE , NSIT and other gr8 eng coll..these ppl take a hefty no of seats in IIM's..and they do deserve also...
