A coaching insttiute will help in maintaining regularity...and also u can get a feel of how well others are preparing..but make sure u spend the least time in commuting..And ya as such not aware of any study groups in bangalore.

since u have already attended classes once, no need to join again . I think u must be having there material . just join one or two test series , that should be more than enough.

i am planning to join Time and CL.

yes..i guess i'll not join coz i mostly hav free time at night only and even weekends are a bit busy 4me.
Yeah the test series is a must as u said and are really helpful. Even earlier when i had joined time, it was the test series which made u learn more than the classes in a way of keeping u updated with test strategies and basic concepts which are the key to crack the cat.
I have started preparation from Mar 30th and am following a 2 hour a weekday +4 hour a weekend model very very very strictly. Anybody with any helpful ideas for self preparation, do post.

if u follow this 2/ 4+ plan religiously then no body can stop u. just find sometime in between office hours and do some general reading ( paper.magazine).

the problem is i am not able to sit in front of book for 2 hours. i will find a way,
yesterday even though i had gone home early , i was able to do only 1/4th of the chapter ( VA chapter 7 form IMS) and was very tired , so slept early. ( thanks to the 15 TT matches i played yesterday ) .

Will try to stick to the 2/4+ plans .

Hey Varun,
The plan 2/4+ is really good.
As you have asked, the coaching insti or rather a test series would help you feel the heat of competition. So, to join test series will be a good option for you. As you're already busy on weekends too. So, to invest that time in self study will fetch success.

I took CAT last yr, and was burdened with loads of work on weekdays and weekends too... So, couldn't study consistently.... and even attend classes...
So, the CONSISTENT and smart approach (2/4+) along with test series would definitely help all of us to get into a good B-school.

Cheers,
Chaitanya
