so history has to be changed... there is ample time to gear up for CAT 2008. dont think about the past year's percentile.. it's history now.. all u have to do is luk in the present.. CAT can be cracked, if u have the ryt attitude.. there are ppl who crack CAT in 2nd and 3rd attempts though they have very low percentile in earlier attempts.. so this is a new journey now.. jst think of CAT 2008.. start fresh.. since u r already wrking take out sometime daily to study and make it up on weekends.. the strategy for each person differs.. so luk at ur strengths and weaknesses and start preparing with all ebullience..

All the best to you and all..

time is runnning like anything .the time in our hand is only 5 months and other months which left are for MOCK CAT and its analysis. Verbal is my nemesis so i just inchoate with verbalpart . doing 2 flash cards daily . and also doing WORD POWER MADE EASY BOOK.
do 2 di block and 2 rc daily . bcoz only regular practice can make me to my dream collage IIMAAAAAAA

i wil give advice to all my pg junta especially working ppl do nt do the things which are supererogatory . better make a gud time schdule first , Inchoate wid the weak portions . read some magazines regularly.bcoz these things will help u out after CAT for GD and PI .

the things in which u r strong even do not give up those topic also . Keep revising ur old concept ......

I dont knw where our KIZMET make us but the hardwork is only key to change our kizmet so all the best to all PUYS

CAT 2008 Study Links for Working Professionals part1 - 05-04-2008, 01:45 PM

PART 1 (CAT 2008 for Working Professionals)

PART 2

PART 3

Hi,

Disclaimer1: Moi no IIM/XL/SP/FMS..

Disclaimer 2: These stuff will be useful only for those working professionals, whose work per se may not be that taxing but might have to spend say 12-14 hours at office for jus sake of it. That is they will get a lot of spare time in the office but will have to be at their seat ( bcos of some stupid n workaholic managers, leads etc) and will not be able to go to home early and prepare.

Disclaimer 3: No online materials can replace the good old TIME/IMS/CL study materials. So this is jus an addition. Dont depend too much on this.

Disclaimer 4: The standard of the materials might be under question. Except for three or four links I cant vouch that they have CAT 08 standard

Disclaimer 5: As CAT(2009) MIGHT be online it might be useful only for future generation

Disclaimer 6: I will edit this post and will make it tidier

Disclaimer 7: @Mods This aint marketing of any sorts

Disclaimer 8: I will update this upon getting new links
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A wise guy once said “There is nothing like a free Lunch and don’t count ur chickens before they are hatched”. One chap now goes around saying “Count ur chickens before they are hatched” and has even written a book on it ......… So lets say “ There is something like a free lunch”…

do check these links.. most of them are free

COACHING INSTITUTES' WEBSITES

These will contain info abt their courses, abt MBA, notofications, previous year question papers, free online stuff, GD articles, current affairs, other downloads etc. Try finding people who have joined the institues and get their USERID and pass ( say after sharing urs...thru mobile/email/love letters etc. but pls not thru this thread) and avail the members only stuff. These sites will also contain forums ( but much much lower standard than our dear pagalguy.com)

SO the list goes....

CAREERLAUNCHER

IMS

TIME

Career Forum

Ascent Education

PT education

Brilliant Tutorials

Roots Education

ERUDITE

ONLINE INSTITUTES
Some of these may be paid one. Some might be free.Still cant say much about the contents. Stil lots of these sites contains downloadable stuff which might be useful

CATAXE

MYCATPREP

MYPRETEST

2IIM

MASTERMIND

ENTRANCEGURU

contd.....

PART 2

PART 3

tricks are same as b4.stick to the basic, make a chart of ur weak areas and stronger ones.try to overcome the weaker sections and get more energetic wid the stronger ones.
and one has to be consistent even if he contributes 1 or 2 hrs everyday.

lyfe bcomes wot we make of it, and wot we make of lyfe dpends entirely on how we manage d ideas tht come to our brain

and its all total different if one doesnt hav a brain
