I am a working professional like you. I am planning to give my first CAT this year.Hope you can help me in finding the right material for the preparation. I am abroad as part of an assignment and so, I cannot attend any classs room coaching. Which material do you think is the best?

Hi guys

I gave CAT 2007 but fared miserably.Even I sometimes found it difficult to mange both at the same time.Even I did not go for a classroom coaching.But this year I wish to go for a classroom and even want to implement some strategy to manage both.I am from Bangalore, anybody from Bangalore can please suggest which classroom coaching in Bangalore should be the one I shud join..........

I am a veteran for such thread.. 4th CAT in 2008... Here's my story
CAT 05 - 93 - Converts - IMT Nagpur, IMI HR, UBS HR
CAT 06 - Dont Ask - Converts (based on CAT 05) Great Lakes
CAT 07 - 86 - :(
CAT 08 - Last One for Me

I am taking Gmat too.. coz with 3 years of work ex now, it's better I go abroad rather than a tier 2 bschool in india

will be regular on this thread... ATB!!

Hi Gopu

As I am following career forum, and I have also seen CL and IMS, I feel the CF material is good, Times material would also help. As k some body to get these from India and courier to your place. Also in CAT4MBA | incites MBA | One STOP 4 ALL MBA Stuffs you can register and do prep online. register in tenaday.com and they have sectional tests, it's free.
I think this would be enough, more than material, I feel strategy and strong basics are the key ingredients.
