hii dude.. see 2hrs in a day are enuff provided u religiously study in those two hrs.. compensate on weekends by putting in more hrs.. see i shd not say about timeline for covering the basics.. it all depends on ones caliber.. u've not mentioned basics of quant or di or english.. or may be all of tem..
the strategy differs from individual to individual.. may be one is gud in quant or di or english.. study the basics of all areas.. by all i mean all areas in all the sections.. for example cover all the chapters in quant.. atleast basic.. u never knw if an easy question, which depends only on logic, comes from the area u r not comfortable with.. but if the basics are in place u may very well crack it..
give ample time to learn the concepts.. dont rush up.. although it's July, but there's still ample time.. get accustomed to all types of data sets, DS questions.. and for english there is one thing.. read read and read.. but at d same time comprehend wht u read.. try to understand wht u've read.. revise it in ur mind..
gradually in some days u wud gain speed.. starting taking mock CATS to knw where u r standing and wher u've to go.. dont get baffled by mock scores.. these are jst for learning.. and u wud learn from them.. give atleast 5 to 6 hrs in analysing the mock paper.. it definitely helps..
analyse ur strengths and weakness.. after all, CAT is a test of character.. the one who can face the pressure excels..
P.S. the above views are purely mine.. others may have different opinions.. also take advice from others..
all the best
