Yar schedule banane ka koi fayada nhi... It will be difficult to follow if u r working.... So don't waste time in preparing that...

I also rarely get time at home...
But definitely in office u can utilize ur time by referring few threads on this site....

refer the below link....

Better to go with time... As one of the thread's poll suggest that it's test series is best... phir bhi depends on ur preference... wat matters is how much time u can devote in analyzing the whole test paper... and trust me one paper will need at least 8-10 hrs of ur personal time which excludes ur office time if u r working... which will be not so easy... so better go for one test series only....

Hey Mahmood,

There are generally 2-3 batches of mocks taking place on sunday so you can take 1st batch of one and the 2nd batch of another.
One more thing you can take time on saturday evening if required as i myself work in shifts as asked them about this and they said it can be possible.

Re: CAT 2008 for Working Professionals - 05-06-2008, 06:01 PM

hi puys,
continuing with the discussion...
here is what i am doing...
my office hours vary from 8 to 10 hours...daily (except weekends)
so i cover a topic a day from any area (QA VA DI)...any of these...
but i make sure that no portion is left neglected...
i try to devote 2 hours daily for the same...usually mornings as i am an early riser...
in the office i get sometime to read the newspapers...so i try reading Hindu (editorial and opinion page, online)...
after coming back to office i read books for 45-60 mins...most of them which have been referred by puys here (Some Books I have Read & Would Recommend) and sometimes times of india...

regarding the weekends, i generally don't study more than weekdays and hangout a bit with friends

it'd be quite knowledgeable if you all puys post your schedules...about managing work with preps...:-)

All right...I dunno if I have posted on this thread before..maybe I have but not sure. Feels strange to post on a CAT thread anyway Deciding to jump into the battle ring now after a hiatus of 3 years. Been working as a techie for the past 27 months and now slowly getting tired of it Haven't joined any classes but will be taking up the TIME AIMCAT's starting from this Sunday or most probably the next Sunday. Not sure how and where I am going to start, as currently 12 out of 24 hours is spent in office, including travelling . Maybe I should start preparing while commuting in local trains .

Anyway, all the best to all the working junta of India . The Quest for the gold resumes

Cheers..

PS- No laughing at my mock scores as and when they come

Hi Jayaram,

As far as my knowledge goes time allows to take mocks and schedules differ from city to city.

CL: having 3 shifts in delhi and north india but only one in south and other parts.

TIME:two in ncr 2 or 3 in south and mumbai region.

IMS: 2 or more in maharashtra 1 only in north india.

hope this will help you guys in deciding on how to schedule your mocks.
